sometimes you will encounter something like this when you're turning on your 2FA google authenticator,
first what should you do is resynch the clock.
you need to resync your PC/Laptop computer to google times so google authenticator can read the code properly.
i encountered something like this a year ago when i tried to login on kraken.

sync your PC/Laptop clock to google clock and then resync the google authenticator clock.

Thank you for this thread, guys!
I encountered today with this kind of problem at NOVA Exchange.
When I scanned my QR Code Google Authenticator MFA Code, the result is INVALID.
I tried to register for new account, but the site is under maintainance.

Novaexchange disabled their new register account, and they are not under maintenance.
if you can not reach their website that mean your IP blocked by them.
because 2 days ago novaexchange attacked by people and they are blocking the IP of the attacker.

https://novaexchange.com is up and running right now. You may try now. Before setting up 2FA, make sure your computer's date and time is set right.
I have faced many times such 2fa failing scenarios but all of them due to time not synchronized. This will apply also for your mobile's clock where you are installing the google authenticator app.

I am also currently having this problem so I guess this is happening to other people as well.  Setting up a new account is pretty messed up.

Looking for campaign manager? Contact icopress!
There's a good chance that your or their clock (in the 2FA application) is not correctly synchronized.
It happened to me too with some exchanges now and then, but usually there was a small time frame the code was accepted at the start or end of the period for a code.

However, I'm glad that they are professional enough and gave you a valid method to reclaim your account.

Problem solved by creating a new account & contacting them.

Support NovaExchange

Hi,

We can turn off 2FA for your account, but for our users account safety, you will have to validate your account first.
When checking your account, you have one deposit on it, please send us the 3) TXID on that transaction to your Novaexchange account, when we have validated your transactions, we will turn 2FA off for you.

That we require any kind of validation to remove 2FA is for our users account safety.

Regards
Novaexchange Support Team

I set up my account with Nova Exchange and enabled Google 2FA. When trying to log in, it keeps saying code not valid.

To contact support I need to be logged in. Any ideas other than creating a new account?

Thanks!

I think the best way to you is creating a new account there and then contact support about your account issue ask it to disable your Google 2fa and set a new one.
