I understand your concern, but I disagree as I see this coin as a good alternative and one of the few Scrypt coins around that offer something new. (appose to Feathercoin not to bring it down though just an observation)
With all the ASICS out there hopping around from ppc to trc and back to btc I think we need something for GPU miners to work with and over time this coin will build itself up.

I would think the premine was the main issue with NVC, and that was destroyed. So what else is there negative to say?

Well after I bought the doimain novacoin.org i didnt know what to do with it for a while and then after doing some research about the coin and seeing how btc-e destroyed their reserve and currency actually offering something new I decided to go ahead and bring it back to what it should be
