The revolution will be monetized!
The way to get a place locally to accept bitcoins is to ask if they take them, then walk out when they say no. I have convinced several local places near me. Show them bitpay or coinbase if they are confused and afraid.

There are not any places near me that accept bitcoin directly so it does seem to be only catching on in large cities or areas know to be more technologically savvy. An under-appreciated area I thought bitcoin would do well would be at colleges. If someone could get the campus bookstores and coffee shops to look into it I think it would take off with the added benefit of having more young adults become familiar with it and spread the word as they move on into the working careers.

As a proponent of Bitcoin, I have yet to come across a truly efficient way to pay for things with Bitcoin out in real life.

Hi, I have found some statistics about online sales but not about brick and mortar stores like grocery stores, restaurants, coffeehouses...
I have read bitcoin payments are "popular" in Silicon valley, Berlin, ..
Question 1:
How many customers pay in bitcoin in a shop every month?
Question 2:
What is the monthly bitcoin gross sale in a shop?

Thanks.
