bot trade is also counted into the transactions. right?

Bot trades on exchanges? No, but withdrawls to actual bitcoin wallets will.

Hello, I'm new here! Grin

Perhaps, it's the Changetip effect!

Is that how you knew about bitcoin?

Yes, sir. I got a "beer" in Changetip and then bought 4 bitcoins at Coinbase at around $360 each. So I'm up so far! I won't buy anymore though as I don't have money to lose.

Trying to learn a little bit about the Bitcoin each day, watching youtube videos and what have you!

See I've been saying , changetip is going to make bitcoin go viral.  Welcome to the community.

How long has chnagetip been running though? I'm not sure it's the cause of the sudden rush.

We just crossed the all time high of last year, at an impressive 95,680 transactions in a day (or 100,000 incl popular addresses)

Welcome to the community, and don't let the bear-whales scare you. Expect some whales to cash in plunging the price of BTC after this initial rally probably once more in December or late November. Have some fiat ready for this action and never sell for a loss, you will do great.

Good advice right here

No. Trades will not be counted as transactions because they are done "off chain" on the exchanges.

The number of TX per second is only actual transactions that are pushed and confirmed by the miners

The no: of transactions is growing due to easier ways to spend btc, more spending options, andf gradual though slower than expected adoption

LOL that is probably the best possible "tip" that anyone can ever receive.

I don't think that changetip is causing the number of transactions to rise as much as it has, as the massive number of people tipping is somewhat recent while the trend of the number of transactions per second growing is more long term.

I would suggest that you check out the Beginners and Help section to learn about bitcoin. There are a lot of people who are very experienced who frequent the section that are more then willing to answer your questions (even if they have been asked multiple times.
