Cashback 15%
Most exchanges only view recent transactions for the past hour and most of them do not display all the transactions that occurred on the past 24 hours. Checking the volume of trades done in an exchange could, in some way, help you in determining the transactions that occurred in a certain exchange.

Which specific exchange are you interested in? Exchange specific volume may be tough to get - not that it's private but because it's probably not info that these exchanges think people  want to know.

BUT, here's the transaction volume (among other metrics) for the blockchain, hope this helps -> https://blockchain.info/charts

Those measurements can be very missleading, specially for noobs. It's hard to explain when I shop people stats such as the ones in "bitcoinrichlist" that a ton of those addresses may belong to the same person. It seems to me that noobs tend to think 1 address = 1 bank account.

I do not think, that it is possible. Only exchange staff members can do it  Grin

it's better to look at the volume of transaction per exchange, and compare those with other exchange, you can have a good estimate anyway, without going into much trouble for finding something that does not exist because it isn't really necessary

I don't think it's possible. Users generate new addresses of both deposit and withdrawing every time, and exchanges are getting clever and not reusing their addresses as well so competitors can't guesstimate the amount of money they are moving through the blockchain. It's too obfuscated to come up with a realistic estimate.

The ability to search via Transaction history (if that's what you meant) basically depends on one exchanger to another. Some will offer a more comprehensive sorting functions while other don't even let you browse more than an hour of transaction history. So far I've never seen one offering such detailed service but maybe what you can do to overcome that is by looking at the volume of trade occurring at a specific hour.

Wait, so you wanna know the NUMBER of transactions of an exchange, i guess in a specific amount of time, right? You can definitely see the volume of all transactions each hour on pretty much all exchanges but im not sure about the number of transactions, why would you need such thing anyway?
