Well I feel like we've gone full circle.

I've been a member since 2011. It's a great site for cataloging collections. I think it might be time to list more BTC items on there.

Interesting Steeley.

Actually a while after creating this thread I went ahead and contacted Xavier? who
is the main administrator of the account, lets see what comes back....if anything.

If the process is that long winded as to getting a coin listed I wonder how others
have listed their Car Wash Tokens etc. they are very very niche. And they are all
accounted for.

Crypto should have a section of its own!

I had the same thoughts as you, opened an account, and started down the same rabbit hole. However, they do not have any of the physical bitcoins catalogued and I got distracted and haven't pushed any farther on this. SO, your question is good, I have an account, but I haven't figured out the answer yet. Let me know if you find out more. If I remember correctly, I tried to post several physical bitcoins, but it was problematic.

-----

I wrote the comment above and then went into my account to try and remember why I stopped. Basically, there are no physical bitcoins in their system except Nuie coins. The process to get them to catalogue new coins is a fairly long form that requests references, pictures, mintages, dimensions, and even source material to site the proof of this data. I actually have all this for most coins, but I think it will take 20 minutes per coin to submit to a referee at Numista who then judges whether they will accept it or not.

I will go ahead and do one as a test and see what they decide.

I have been using https://en.numista.com/ for a number of years without an account for
checking FIAT coins I come across from time to time.

I noticed today which I havent done so before but they catalogue everything from Car
Wash Tokens
to Brothel Tokens

While raghavsood is doing a fantastic job with collectible.money it would be great to have
the likes of Numista recognise our collectibles and increase exposure to future collectors.
Most of our collectibles are rarer than most collectible FIAT coins and notes so why wouldnt
more collectors get excited about them!

Does anyone have an account with Numista?

What approach would you take to possibly contacting Numista about this topic?
