I would do Windows reinstall. That worked for me sometimes with the ATI cards but I don't know with Nvidias. Do you have a licensed version of Windows because Windows behave in a funny way when it is not licensed or it is activated in some different way than with the original license ?

In case you haven't a serial costs only 5-10 Euros in Ebay. I would give a try to reinstall Windows , download it from Microsoft website and enter the serial you buy, this is the best way to installing Windows from my work experience.

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone experienced the following issue on Windows 10.

After the April 10, 2018—KB4093112 (OS Build 16299.371) Windows 10 update, I cannot start any mining on my 3 nVidia 1070 Ti cards.
Everything was working fine before. I have 5 1060 on the same PC and they are not stable as sometimes I experience PC freeze.
I tested different miners that I have on the PC and none work, basically I get a CUDA error which freeze the PC. Fans go to 100%.

I already tried to revert back the updates both Windows and nVidia Driver but nothing is working.

Anyone experienced such issue?

Nothing will work with windows platform.

That's not exactly true.  I've had rigs running just fine on Windows in the past.  My Vega rig has been running on Win10 since December 2017 and has only crashed once.  That's the only rig I still have on Windows though.  As for my Nvidia rigs ... Some worked just fine.  Some crashed, if I didn't reboot them every 12 hours.  Never had hash rate issues though.  They can work fine on Windows, but it's more of a hassle to keep them running stable on Windows than it is on Linux.

This has been confirmed by the various people bro. If you use the Windows os for mining purpose it will never perform the work better and you may get the issues like cards hashing with the very low level, Some cards alone not performing better and Miner software crashing frequently.

I suggest you to have the Perfectmine or Hive os to mine the coins whatever you want. Only you need to bear the some percentage fees for mining the any coins with this. I suggest you to invest buy decent hashing cards and pay for reducing fee on perfectmine and work with that.
Then your issue will definetely sorted out. Nothing will work with windows platform.

My life became 10 times easier when I switched from Win10 to SMOS.

I already did all the suggestions you mention.
If no-one had a similar issue I might check a hardware issue but I really doubt it.

My last resort is re-install windows 10 but I would like to avoid it if possible.

Somewhere I remember reading that Windows 10 handles GPUs in a different way and this can cause some problems when mining. Is there any particular reason for which you have to use Windows 10? Have you considered either downgrading to Windows 7 or using a ready-made Linux based mining OS such as PiMP or Ethos?

I agree with you that a hardware problem is quite unlikely to be the case.

After Windows Update use Ddu program to completely uninstall your Nvidia drivers, also delete them from the appdata directory. After doing so install the latest Nvidia drivers and also do not overclock your cards too much as that is a reason that freezes the pc. This should solve the nvidia.sys problem that restarts he computer.
