well it sounds like you are installing the P106 without reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers.  I'd use DDU to remove all the NVIDIA drivers, install the P106's and then install the latest NVIDIA drivers.  Before you do all of this, I'd check the readme files of the latest NVIDIA driver and see if it has the P106 listed.

ETA: didn't the P106 come with a CD that had the drivers on it?  If so you'll probably have to use that as the online NVIDIA drivers might not have this new P106 wrapped up in it.

Hello all,

I have recently received a few P106 mining cards which are based off the GTX 1060.

I met an error message in both Windows 7 (on MSI Z97 gaming 5 motherboard) and Windows 10 (on Asus ROG z270f motherboard). There is a yellow exclamation mark Error code 28 (3D video controller) - drivers for this device not installed. This only occurs when I mount the P106 card, and does not manifest when put in a GTX 1060. My main card is a GTX 1070.

Both set ups are more than capable to accepting 3 PCIe cards. I have tried with risers and direct mount on the motherboard and with and without overclock. Nvidia drivers are the 2nd latest available on their website.

I can't seem to find a solution for this given the card is still very new.

Any help is much appreciated!
