Does this applies to all 3060 cards including old and new? are they all restricted either by driver or by firmware ?
The earliest versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 mined Ethereum very poorly. Then, when using 16x raisers or installing video cards into 16x ports on the motherboard (which support more than 8x operation mode) and a special driver, it turned out to mine with a hash rate of 48 megahash.
For subsequent versions 1 and 2, the hash rate cannot be increased more than 40 megahash.

No there 1st batch of 3060ti and 3060 they are not limited but you cant find them new only used ones. so shortly if you buy new V2 means LHR 3060 gives you 35-36mhs and LHR 3060ti gives you 44-45mhs.

Hi there experts,

I have been looking into buying a 3060ti card and noticed the description says it does 25Mh/s. However majority of the websites providing GPU efficiencies has reported 3060 ti (LHR) model having 41 Mh/s.

Is this a new limit set on all the new 3xxx series cards?

Thanks,
Perhaps this is a bug in the algorithm. On the ProgPow algorithm, this video card gives 25Mh/s.
On the Ethash algorithm, you can get a slightly higher hash rate than 41Mh/s, but this will require more power consumption and better cooling of the video card.
41-42Mh/s is considered the optimal hash rate on the Ethash algorithm for this video card.

Both are correct  Cheesy

Running with a miner without LHR unlock, card will hash 25Mhs, but today we have 4 or 5 miners with LHR unlock, I prefer T-Rex miner, but you can use NBminer, Gminer etc
Combined with memory overclock you can reach 41Mhs easily

There are a lot of models of 3060ti LHR v2, last one I see is from a friend of forum, he achieve 48Mhs, but it's commom to reach at least 44Mhs
A good way to have a better idea about the hashrate is to see the model you pretending to buy and search on youtube

I believe that the normal 3600 can reach performance above 40 mhs the 3600ti with all the partial unlocking of nbminer i don't think it can go beyond 25 mhs

What description? On website or on the GPU package itself? That's a wrong description cos no 3060ti LHR has 25MH, all 3060ti can do 40+MH to 48MH easily, I mean all 3060ti from different manufacturers
The 3060 will be running on a around 25 MHs when the LHR is active the whole time !
Im running a normal 3060 with no overclocking with 34 / 35 MHS on ETH .
But yeah with some good OC settings it should be possible to get the 40 + MHs , and for sure you need the right mIner also for it.

On the retailers website they have included the usual NVIDIA image under the card description. In few retailer websites I have seen 25 Mhs under their LHR definition.
