If you're on Windows, I don't see why you want to get rid of MSI afterburner unless you have a farm with dozens of GPU rigs (why would you even use Windows in that case?).
If you're using Linux, I would switch to a standard mining OS like Minerstat, SMOS or HiveOS, which can handle many other things as well as overclocking. Minerstat is the best at OC.

Hi guys,

I couldn't find many threads when it comes to using nvidia-smi to overclock in Windows.
Currently, I am using lolMiner with core locked withing bat file but for memory lock I still use Afterburner.
My idea is to completely get rid of Afterburner, if possible, and I recently heard about nvidia-smi.

Are any of you OC GPUs using nvidia-smi, and if so, can you recommend commands you are using for nonlhr 3070s?

I am sure others would appreciate any recommendation/setups for other cards as well.

Thanks in advance

I use nvidia-smi in the past some times.
