I've opened up the NXT thread on the newbie forum as new users will roam there for the first hours.
NXT will be an interesting coin to look at, especially due to it's PoS concept.
The concept of Proof of Work is great for now but as we all need to think on limiting our energy consumption at some point PoS systems it the next thing.
If you are new here, first read in on the BTC and Major altcoins like LTC / NVC ...
- take a look at sha256 vs. Scrypt coins
- take a look at PoS / PoW systems
