Has anyone heard of Oath protocol? What does their team look like?

Hey hey,

Yes, we heard of them Smiley
Our Team is head quartered in both the US and China. If you're interested to track us, follow us on Medium. We frequently publish Team Update Posts (like this one: https://medium.com/oathprotocol/oath-team-update-nov-12-2018-9e54462bf811) and announce upcoming Partnerships. You can also find insightful reading materials there and get back to us for further questions any time Smiley

You keep referring to this medium post, is there no website for the projects, telegram group to ask the team questions about their project and even I have not come about ANN page on BCT. I think you guys no that the era of using partnership to create hype around a project is long gone, you need to show your team have the capacity to deliver on what they promise

If you read the Medium article, you'd notice that the Partnership Section is just a part of what we are announcing/updating.

And sure, we have all that:

Website: www.oaths.io (see WP, OP, TP)
Telegram: https://t.me/oathsio (Ask us Anything)
BCT ANN: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46279624

Regarding Partnerships/Hype: This thread is about the MOAC Partnership Announcement, so I guess that's the topic.
To us any Partnership we conclude is super exciting and we want to share it with our Community.

Check us out and join our Telegram - we frequently update on everything that we do: Product Development (Prototype is out, MVP to be released shortly), Workshops & Events (we established BlockchainGo, an educational workshop series for University Students only), Team Expansion, and much more!

Great announcement from Oath Protocol and MOAC: https://medium.com/oathprotocol/oath-protocol-and-moac-team-up-in-strategic-partnership-f38427784a17

I think this is pretty cool for dapps being built on MOAC where they will have access to an arbitration system for conflict resolution.

Copy/pasted here:

Quote
Today, we are pleased to announce our strategic partnership with MOAC, a world-class public blockchain that is among the first to implement sharding to resolve the scalability dilemma.

This partnership is a solid step in Oath Protocol’s aspiration of becoming the standard blockchain dispute resolution protocol, while MOAC further strengthens ability to serve its users by providing tools for community governance and securing users’ rights and assets.

MOAC is a revolutionary platform with a multi-blockchain smart contract and P2P service network to efficiently build and scale decentralized applications. By leveraging multi-blockchain sharding, the MOAC platform increases system capacity and performance, reduces transaction fees for smart contracts, and incentivizes mobile and desktop users to compete for processing rewards.

Oath Protocol is a layer 2 protocol that provides a mechanism for community-based governance and dispute resolution, compatible with any public chains, dApps, and traditional web platforms via APIs.

Both Oath Protocol and MOAC subscribe to the ideology of decentralization through blockchain technology with a strong focus on community and enabling everyone to contribute to the growth of the sharing economy.

“Today’s announcement with industry leader MOAC is another solid step in our journey to build on our foundation in blockchain governance and dispute resolution and become a leader in the new blockchain ecosystem,” said Xu Yin, Oath Protocol’s co-founder and CEO. “This partnership will help us deliver on our strategy by exposing us to a wide user base and business foundation. MOAC is the perfect partner to help us fully realize the blockchain governance opportunity in the long term.”
Partnership Details
Oath, a cross-chain layer 2 protocol, will deploy a MOAC-compatible smart contract that incorporates Oath as the default arbitration system to provide a conflict management tool to all dApps and users in the MOAC ecosystem, adding an important missing link to overall blockchain security.

MOAC network users will be able to use Oath Protocol-secured smart contracts in a variety of scenarios and rely on Oath to resolve any user disputes, verify real-world information, etc. Any smart contract user will be able to initiate the arbitration process by simply submitting a case to Oath. The users will always remain on the MOAC chain, and the arbitration itself will be handled by the Oath jury, comprised of general users from different platforms, backgrounds, and areas of expertise.

In early 2019, Oath Protocol will launch a large-scale public beta in the MOAC ecosystem, and we invite all MOAC community members to test our platform, cast your votes to resolve disputes, and earn credit points and arbitration awards.
