Leave Obama alone. He's doing the best he can. It's the Rethuglicans who are ruining the country. STOP ELECTING REPUBLICANS. I am a proud member of American Independent Party and I refuse to vote for Republican candidates.

They're both doing their equal share of turning this country into shit.  It doesn't matter who you vote for, all that matters is whether you believe a magical man will solve all your problems if you could just get the right one...or whether you do not.

exactly. You are a moron if you think one party is responsible for all the Garbage that has befallen this Country. It is clear abuses by both sides.

It sounds like Jamesc watches too much of our Democrat bought, garbage ass main stream liberal media. Crock of shit they call "news"

It is interest free, and if he makes 16 of them he can pay off the debt rather quickly.

BREAKING NEWS: OBAMA PAYS OFF NATIONAL DEBT IN A SINGLE AFTERNOON!

OR

US GOVERNMENT ENDS ALL TAXES AS INFLATION SKYROCKETS

I could go for either of those right about now.

But can government afford to mint such a coin?

Just a ounce of the stuff cost 1500USD... And they are insolvent. How can they afford such a payment?

It could still be a one ounce coin that has a face value of 1 Trillion Dollars. A government issue coin doesn't have to have any relation between face and melt value.

You didn't get the joke Grin

Although he denied the idea, he is evaluating the possibility, in a worst case scenario, he might go ahead and issue his own trillion dollar coin, and once he did it, he will find out that there is no need for FED Cheesy
