do the staff consider not permabanning if the accused of plagiarising a content deleted the post before they got to see it?
I sure hope so! I too mess up my quotes sometimes, and I wouldn't want to be banned for a mistake.
If the user corrects a mistake by himself, I don't think they deserve to be punished for it.

The permanent ban is applied to those who post a plagiarized content or share a link to a malware or a phasing website.

Delight Media got caught plagiarising from an article, so I am also curious why wasn't he banned for plagiarism. do the staff consider not permabanning if the accused of plagiarising a content deleted the post before they got to see it?

And all of his 32 posts are made in Meta. Nice try "Newbie"!
48 posts if we consider the deleted posts too and much more if we consider the posts made by the possible alt accounts.

Do you find it unusual that the mods didn't permban, as they have always been doing to the other violators?

If I'm not wrong, spammers are usually warned with a temporary ban before they get banned permanently.

Is this possible that I made 31post and non of the post require to be awarded a merit.
yeah, it's possible. if you want your post to get merited I suggest making better posts than you are making now. also, exclusively posting in meta doesn't increase your chance of getting merit. what people look for is the quality of your post not where or what board you post.

@lovemayfamilis exposed his dupes several times before this, including instances of plagiarism:

I didn't review OP's post history, but I'll take your word for it that his posts are generic ones just based on what he wrote here.  OP, if you ever want to earn merits, your posts have to stand out from the rest of the garbage posts that permeate a lot of threads, especially in sections like Bitcoin Discussion and the like.  If you're writing in the English section and your grasp of the language isn't great, don't expect any of your posts to earn merits unless you've contributed something very interesting or helpful.

@lovemayfamilis exposed his dupes several times before this, including instances of plagiarism:
Let him have it if it's deserved, though I have no clue what his original offense was.  If you could enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

I think these 2 accounts were banned for spam. He writes and creates his posts only in META. And there were complaints about a lot of posts. Today's two accounts woke up at the same time, and both were banned for a week.
There is nothing useful in his topics, and in almost all topics there is communication with oneself.
He has a negative tag on 2 accounts and one neutral donated to nutildah.

I have no direct evidence, but only this character has a style of writing on the name of the forum.

Forum mission is to encourage everyone to be in the ecosystem.

Bitcointalk forum is an organized ecosystem
and

This challenges has now make registration of bitcointalk account difficult mostly for the newbies and thereby also causing limitations to the population of people wishing to be long to this lovely ecosystem.
I Suggests if account registration can be done without VPN or either if the related problem above can be Minimize.

And there is also plagiarism that has been forgiven by the moderators. Sometimes people do not appreciate kindness, but they still have to pay for their stupidity.

Wow, two newbies who created accounts on the forum about an hour and a half apart posting consecutively with shitposts.  Guess people really are still account farming these days.

This character is sick, and he suffers from a split personality. It is naive to think that we will not notice his writing style. He loves to talk to himself, impersonating each of his accounts as different people.
The only thing I regret is that the moderators regretted Delight Media for plagiarism, and did not block him and his IP.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57050646

Until then, we will see this poster in META every day.

I don't think that OP would be dumb enough to be ban evading by making a thread in meta thanking for a un ban

Believe it or not, the way you named it, this is exactly the case.

I just went trough your post history, and yes, it's perfectly possible nobody gave you a merit for those posts... I mean, you're not giving new information, no posts that required extra effort,... in most of your posts you're just agreeing with others, or you're bringing points that have been discussed dozens of times already.

As to the question OP asked, I'd also advise reading the info members have provided about activity and ranking up.  It's not a mystery, though it can be confusing if you haven't read through the details of how you go from Newbie to Jr. Member, and what it takes to then reach Member and the higher ranks.

And all of his 32 posts are made in Meta. Nice try "Newbie"!
Yeah, that's a red flag that he's trying way too hard to earn merits.  Meta would be the place to get them, but only if you know how to write--and I don't think OP is up to par as far as that's concerned.

I am wondering you had missed the pinned post in the meta section when you all the posts made in that section. Really are you care about your rank or just hunting for merits? At least you should learn to read the pinned post on that board where you are making posts continuously and at the same time you should learn to use the search button as well.

And all of his 32 posts are made in Meta. Nice try "Newbie"!
It's quite surprising but merit hunting.

Yes, you can make as many posts without much effort and get no merit.

I think instead of counting post they should always count a merited post. This will make one know that once your post is counted you equally have merit.
So a situation where merits validate a post? I do not see the purpose of that, as merits, posts and activities are counted distinctly and you'll be notified once you get a merit.

Get out of this zone, you are too "popular" here, despite all your apologies and communication with your viola. The forum is big, do you know that? Or is your mobile phone only one page available in META?

Also, there is no need to only count merited posts, your merit count is clearly visible... If you stop posting to get merit, but just start being a member of the community by asking real questions that have anything to do with crypto currency's, by helping others or by actually providing new insights into a discussion, you'll get some merit sooner or later

Yes, the rules changed a while back to reduce account farming and users simply spamming to rank up.
You need at least one merit to rank up to Jr member - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522

I have post 30post already and NY rank is still in newbie rank. So I observed this and I decided to create this topic to draw the attention of the forum because I don't if the rules has change or there is a task expected from to do before I can reach the junior member
