I'll move the thread now, but perhaps I should lock it relatively soon?
The Collectibles section sees less spammers in general (or we just report them faster), but yeah, probably a good idea, if your question/concern has been resolved. Cheesy

Plenty of bonds still available for sale Cheesy

Excellent, minerjones!!  Like I said, at $20 I'm going to jump in the pool and go where the swimming takes me, you know?  I appreciate everyone's feedback, and I suspected I should have posted this in the Collectibles section but me brains be slow these days.

I can confirm that the product is most likely real. Physibit used to be owned by Vizique and was sold to Minerjones a few years ago. So, unless that eBay account was hacked, it is legit and def. looks like the product that we used to sell for BG4. Smiley

I've pinged Minerjones for you, just to make sure it's all legit. You should also consider moving this to Collectibles (since I missed it and only got pinged due to RickDeckard) Cheesy

Hello! Cheesy

Yes, the product is 100% a legitimate PaperSafe product sold by me.

Mitchell and I were the distributors for PaperSafe before they closed down in 2018/2019

This was the last product that was made by them and never "officially" released.

Being that, I bought out the stock from BG4 and now sell them on various platforms.

Here is a link to my listing in the Collectibles section from back in February 2024 selling these bonds:

Hope this helps clear up any confusion or questions about this product.

A similar project existed[1] and it even started, with no surprises, in the forum[2][3][4]. I believe that the version that you posted is the one published by BG4 here[5], but WayBackMachine doesn't fetch any image. Considering Mitchell and minerjones comments, perhaps they'll be able to confirm you if this is the same product?

Thanks for your considered reply, my man.  I edited the OP to include a link to the eBay auction/sale, and if you look you can see that there are more than 10 of these available with 30 already being sold--and that's why I was thinking this might be sketchy, i.e., that somebody had so many of these (which according to the links of yours I clicked on were hand-numbered and thus not mass-produced).

If these are actually genuine, I'd happily scoop up a few at $20 a pop.  The extremely skeptical devil that resides in my noggin is telling me that they're not.

And I appreciate helping me adjust the width and height of the image.  I can't ever seem to get the ratio right.

Edit:  how the hell do I adjust the image so it can be viewed properly?  Like the ideal width and height.  Grrrr.
Automatically adjust to the ideal size is not possible (I believe). You can, however, append Width and Height to your post in order to find a optimal one (it takes some trial and error for me):

Nor am I sure if this is even the right section to post this in, but I came across this on eBay and while it looks pretty neat, I'm not sure what exactly I'm seeing:

Was there such a thing as a BTC savings bond issued by somebody in 2018?  I was thinking this might be more appropriate to bring up in the Collectibles section, but the members who frequent this section are pretty damn knowledgeable.

I don't know if the disclaimer can be seen in the pic yet, stating that papersafe bears no liability for blah blah blah, but am I right in guessing that this is a scam or a counterfeit?

Edit:  how the hell do I adjust the image so it can be viewed properly?  Like the ideal width and height.  Grrrr.
