Also, I was wondering if it's a bot because the posts are so generic that it actually might be.
It could be someone typed some random text to post them later. I can't confirm plagiarism, but it is total BS indeed.
I've seen it before, usually I report them and forget about it.

He/she can't rank up with these shit posts because merit system is here, can't join sig. campaigns because managers are smarter.
Many signature managers would actually fall for it, and accept him.

I don't think they care as long as they get their sigs on the boards.
This one doesn't have a signature yet. Your post made me check modlog, but he isn't banned yet either.

Not all managers review the quality of posts. Some bounty signature campaigns for example have a new user as their manager so may not think it important to check their post quality. And even if the post quality is bad, it's cheaper for a bad post quality to have your signature still there and these bad quality posters still get to a lot of places on the forum where others can still read their ads.
If a new manager or inexperienced managers assigned to the sig. campaign then it is possible.

Managers ? Hardly 2-5 campaign managers out of 200 actually take time to review post quality of the participants every week. These are the managers which mostly indulge in bitcoin based campaigns and not bounties. Most of the bounty managers are bunch of 12 year olds who can't do basic math.
Managing shit-posters/bounty whoring idiots isn't a big task afterall.I wish bounty campaigns had more restrictions.
By "Smarter" I was referring to experienced managers.
And yes bounty campaigns need more restrictions, moderation and if possible bounty managers are also need to be moderated.

If you find more evidence about the guy (plagiarising, copying and pasting), you can report him there
Plagiarism and copy/paste posts
We have already had a topic on plagiarism, so you should not open your new topic like this one. Users should contribute to the forum on available topics, keep boards as clean as possible, and avoid spamming as less as possible.

What's the catch here for that user to post using bots?
He/she can't rank up with these shit posts because merit system is here, can't join sig. campaigns because managers are smarter.

I don't see any reason for this bs efforts... Roll Eyes

I will. The reason I posted this is I wanted to make you guys aware. There might be more of his clones out there doing the same thing and being unnoticed because their posts look legit at first glance. You have to check his post history to see the pattern.

Yeah there is loads of these and some of them probably aren't even connected. Probably a bot, even if it's not it might as well be because those replies are complete nonsense like they aren't even remotely related to the discussion.  It's always good to get second opinions if you are unsure though.

All his posts are like that and his post about mining is totally off topic, there's not a single post that he would be referring to on the same page. He just took a random sentence about mining from somewhere and placed it there. You can check that thread if you want and you'll see that it's a random thought, like all all his posts (or most of it because I bothered to read only about 10 most recent ones).

Yeah. The one above it said about investing small amounts of money into something and then hoping to get a stronger return back.

Thus investing in a graphics card for mining bitcoin is remotely related to it (though it's not really necessary to bring up, or applicable, and it's useless to mine on GPUs now also since ASICs came into place). I looked  at quite a few of his most recent posts also and saw that they were completely off topic based on the thread they were posted in and the op and previous post to his on that thread of which neither matched.

Hopefully his account is still nukeable.

Edit: I cannot find the post he copied/pasted the first one from - though the search function is quite weak (it did pick up that version and the version in the thread it was posted in).

It's almost definitely a bot. Unless it's someone who is extremely bad at English who was told to just copy and paste it onto a random thread.

If it was a person who spoke even broken English. They'd know those quotes don't fit. The second quote could be them just reading the post directly before it (though I think the idea of it being a bot is probably more likely as it's not very well linked to that post).

Yeah, looks like it. Those seem completely unrelated replies to the discussion. When ever you see posts like these just report them and include a little comment for the moderators explaining the situation to make it quicker for them to deal with it.

EDIT: the rest of their posts don't seem to fit the threads either. Nice Find! If you haven't done so already, report these Smiley.

We had copy paste plagiarism, we had short spam posts, today I came across this interesting subject.
What this guy is doing is writing posts that are in decent English and of decent length, so it might look like a legit post, but it's completely off topic like this guy was taking a 3 sentence thought and breaking it into 1 sentence per random thread. Example:

Thread: Who controls the Bitcoin system?
Online Bitcoin wallet has its advantages over the offline version. You can access it by using not only the PC, but also a tablet or phone. Specificity is similar to conventional Kiwi-wallets, WebMoney or Internet banking.

Thread: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin?
If you now try to get a block using a video card Radeon, this can take about 5-7 years. Therefore, the equipment every year is getting better and better. And in 2040 the last block with the code will be extracted.

All his posts are similar. He may be copying the sentences from somewhere. Is this a bot posting?
