If you see many bad posts or off-topic posts (due to spam or bumping services), you should use the template to report them:

"Off-topic post. There are many in the same topic, please check".

It will make your life easier because you don't have to spend time to report all of those shitposts you find in a single topic. On the other hand, there is another reason to think of: Your report points will do not increase if you do that. So at the end, it is your own decision that mainly based on your main purpose when reporting, and your spare time budget.

There is a script that can help you to more efficiently report many posts with same report template: [HACK] One-click mod report, not for the faint of heart. Using this, your reporting speed will do increase but you have to obey timegap between reports.  Cheesy

I mentioned about some guides, some details here

Block halving is coming.
Just use the "Report to moderator" under the first post of the author/creator of the thread(Just make sure that you explain it well to moderators) then let the moderator decide if it is off-topic or not.

If topic is not in correct section, click "report to moderator" and write in comments "better fits in "here"", but if topic is in correct section (and this one is) but posts are off topic (I didn't check posts), report posts and write in comments "off topic reply".

You can't expect moderator to move topic because some users went off topic.

You can report a Post or reply to the moderator and if it's an accurate report it would be deleted and if it's a thread I think the thread would be deleted also.

This came into my mind when i repetedly saw this topic in the Services board updated with new shitposts; The topic should be in Off-topic board since page one/two page history.

I thought i can post about this in Meta like a suggestion to add "Report thread to moderators" as an additional option for a user, or to ask about how to report a full topic to the administration.
