Hi all,

Before I start will the details of this coin I just wanted to clear a few things up first, so to reduce confusion and things like that.

I didn't create Bitcoin Scrypt, that was Omega6, who asked me if I would join the development team so he could concentrate on the marketing side, last I heard from him, he was emailing me from China!!

Important (Please read)

Running this client will add its blockchain data AND wallet.dat to your Bitcoin SHA appdata folder. It has been reported by many people that this does not effect the original Bitcoin client at all but in actual fact works in tandem with it. I have tried it and it does work but please don't take unnecessary risks with your coins.

When you run Bitcoin SHA, the Bitcoin Scrypt transactions show as unconfirmed, the same thing happens the other way around but please back up your original Bitcoin wallet.dat, like everyone should be doing anyway just to be on the safe side.

Coin Details

This coin started off with the same specifications as the original Bitcoin SHA did but the difficulty algorithm got modified to speed up block generation. This created a hard fork which means at the moment the client will not download the block chain from scratch and the fix for this will be in the next client update.

All the main details of this coin are on the official website http://bitcoinscrypt.org

I don't want to post all the coin details here including its explanation as I know that this coin is already on thin ice being allowed one here and I don't want to ruin that.

All I will say to finish off this post is that for the past few months, Bitcoin Scrypt has been hovering around the 3rd to 4th most mined Scrypt based Crypto and continues to do so, with a steady following on its main mining pool.

This coin is not an attack on the original Bitcoin, if it was, then I am sure Omega6 would have just released another Bitcoin SHA based coin.

This is just a different way of mining it, with the hope that it helps to keep Bitcoin Scrypt more centralised than Bitcoin SHA currently is.

Thank you for your time in reading this.
