Lifeforce pools is closing on 5/31/15

Due to the decreasing number of scrypt coin miners and the decreasing prices of scrypt coins combined with the expense of running three dedicated servers on three continents in order to provide great service, we can no longer afford to lose money on a monthly basis operating the pools.

Back in September of 2014 we began working on a new system that gives scrypt coin miners accurate and detailed estimates of true mining revenue because they the free estimating website available are all fatally flawed because none use a saturation estimating model which is required for all scrypt coins since every scrypt coin only generates a finite number of block per day and that creation is SmarterHash.com

SmarterHash provides real time accurate income estimates on over 50 scrypt coins and the estimate are based on YOUR hashing power, not a one size fits all since every additional bit of hash added to a coisn network hash dilutes your earnings potential.

When we released SmarteraHash on January 20, 2015 we soon realized that even though we now had instant income estimates at our fingertips the challenge for many miners included ourselves was that advantages in this marketplace go to those are are fleet afoot and able to switch their workers quickly.

At that point in time we began work on SmarterHash pools. The SmarterHash which are coupled with SmarterHash.com give miners the ability to assign once single mining port to each of their workers...what we call a Personal Mining Port. Then through the SmarterHash control panel your are able to switch from one coin to another with a few keystrokes without ever having to touch your mining machine.

In additional we developed features we call ALERTS & MINING STRATEGIES that when utilized give you the ability to monitor many aspects of a coin including profitability and have your workers switched automatically.

As you might guess all of this technology does not come free or even cheaply so we charge for SmarterHash members based on different level of hashing power.

And we are so confident that you WILL become more profitable from using SmarterHash we offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

More information about SmarterHash can be found here: https://smarterhash.com and we invite you to watch our video on Yourtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjRKGCudER7FSC_ijmr7Uew

An email detailing the closing was sent to every registered miners in any of our pools on Thursday 5/14/15

The Lifeforce Pools will remain open for access to any coins you may have mined through 5/31/15 to give you ample time to withdrawal your coins. The stratum servers were shut down on Saturday 5/16/15 as a precaution to insure that any mined coins would be confirmed well in advance of the pool closing on 5/31/15

I've contacted cryptsy to let them know their wallet is not compatible with the new wallet and the pool is closed until I can get stored coins out of the wallet.

you should get the new wallet installed as soon as possible but make a copy of the old wallet executable and definately the old wallet.dat because the my old wallet.dat blow up their code so now I'm stuck waiting to see how to sort this mess out.

Hello everybody,f

I am new to the forum and very interested in participating in the Smarterhash.com upcoming mining pre-launch 2-year unlimited subscription. Also, I am very new to mining and thus have a couple of questions.

First, do I have to set up a mining rig or do I just pay the subscription and you operate and maintain the rig wherever you are? Second, do I need to download any software for the purpose of mining when I buy the USD 100 subscription. Third, I have subscribed and now waiting for an answer.

Awaiting your reply.

Still didn't get my bitcoinfast coins 22,247.38655999 and as for the 18 h of mining by now i see only 3,521 coins.

always first thing to do if check your transactions

then if you see a payment - you'll also see a transaction id that you can trace in the block chain explorer for the coin (if the coin has one)

check again - thanks for the heads-up - payouts were all sent

unfortunately I do not see any registered miners with the name Penetrator10 or I'd be able to look up your transactions.

I have
NLG Account Balance
Confirmed   8,165.607483
Unconfirmed   0.000000

On my account I can not payout my coins I have tried manny times to contact de pool owner   no answer
I'm waiting now 6 months for my coins

http://nlg.lifeforce.info this the pool

Who helps me ?

1st  - have you tried clicking on the Manual Payout?

2nd. I have no emails from you.

3rd.  I took the pools over in August and didn't even start offering NLG until the end of September so if you're going to make public accusations you'be better get your facts right...because if you have been waiting it's because
* you never entered your wallet address
* you never selected auto payout or clicked the button for manual payout.

And you certainly have NOT been waiting 6 months because the pool has only been there for 3 months.

There is a contact us screen in every pool and not once have you or anyone ever contacted me about coins not paid from the NLG pool - if you want help don't make unsubstantiated public accusations when there's a contact us screen right in the pool - the you have never used.

Here you go: you don't even have to be logged in to use the form: http://nlg.lifeforce.info/index.php?page=contactform&action=

I am always willing to help and bend over backwards for all of my pool members and I do not appreciates the lies in your post. not one bit.

and I have some bad news for you - you cannot get your coins  - sorry - it's impossible for the pool to send you any coins...

and here's the reason why - of course if you could print out the above stats it means you had to login - so while you're at it (logged in the next time) - take the time to enter an NLG adddress in your profile and then you'll get your coins

the pool can ONLY send them if you have an address to send them to...

Still nothing's works ,try manny thing's
And please tell me not that I have not fill in a adres I'm not stupid  Wink
And the emails I have send you from contact page from the pool I send 3 emails
Thank you  Grin

Hi. I sent you a PM regarding this but I don't know if you accept PMs. I just found out about this thread and thought I'd post it here too just in case. I'm mining CIV on your pool atm and I can't withdraw my coins because the minimum cashout is set to 500. Mining is ending in a couple of hours or so anyways. I've got about 400 coins right now and I'm not sure if I can make it to 500. Thanks!

I'll get that updated for you now.

thanks

CIV

What is going on on http://civ.lifeforce.info/ ?!?

Mining from the beginning with 20mhs and I'm getting no ANY SINGLE COIN ?!??!

yes you do....

and by the way - just because you throw hash at a certain coin does not mean you're going to get any coins - if the pool you are mining in (regardless of whose pool it is) does not have enough combined hash to find blocks you are not going to earn any coins - you should take a look at the BLOCKS from time to time - if the pool your are mining in has not found any blocks in the last hour then you should make note of this and perhaps go looking for a pool that is finding blocks.

Of course I love to have your hash over at Lifeforce but I have notified a number of people that they are wasting their hashing power mining in a pool all by themselves when they did not not have enough hashing power to find even 1 blocks in 24 hours of mining - that's nuts.

for instance if the network hash is 2,000 Mhs and you are mining alone in a pool with 20 Mh/s then your changes of finding a block all by yourself in that pool are 1 in 100

if the pool has 100 Mh/s and the network hash is 2,000 then the chances of the pool finding a block are 1 on 20

do you get the picture?

You should also research the coin your are mining so that you know how many blocks per hour are minted and how many coins are awarded per block. The estimate given by the pool is just an 'estimate' and does not hold true if the pool does not find any blocks. The estimate can always vary from block to block because network hash varies from block to block with just about every coin. And some coins such as TAG coin don't even report Network Hash to that estimate IS TOTALLY USELESS!

just because you mine in a pool is NO GUARANTEE that you will get coins - it all depends on whether or not the pool has enough combined hash to find blocks.

My basic rule of thumb is 5% - I don't mine in pools that have less than 5% of the network hash. You can make your own decisions.

I do not know if you're the guy named : acimir who posted on the pool chat room that you did not have any coins but - I just checked the forum and you have 8,428.04515754 CIV coins mined, so I'm not sure here your were looking.

I hope this information helps you.

Because I like the coin - it has tremendous upside potential and I think with the right marketing it could do well.
this coin was selling for 23 BTC a few months ago!
Sounds like you need more than just a one time update, someone has to support the coin and it's more than a full time job. You should do a take over and organize a team to stand behind the coin.

well - it you take a look at that 42 thread you'll see that's exactly what I'm trying to do...

yes - under three conditions:

1) you compile a windows wallet for 42coin.
2) you compile a mac wallet for 42coin
3) you write a block explorer for the coin (which I will host)

https://github.com/fourtytwo42/42

All that for an additional pool?  Cheesy

for a developer it's a piece of cake - please understand that I'm also a miner and the only reason I run the pools is to make life easier for myself. Running pools are a losing proposition financially - that's the simple truth. These coins are worth close to nothing  and a 1.5% pool fee of next to nothing is just a little more than nothing. You do the math and tell me when I spend $125/month in hosting fees to a fast server and two stratum servers that this enterprise makes money - it doesn't. I hate to be a hard nose that's the reality of the situation. I'm asking for about 1 hour worth of work in return for what will take me at least 2 hours and then countless hours of ongoing support.

yes - all that for an additional pool. LOL

WHy does it say syscoin pool is live but i cant log in during maintenance mode??

it's down right now because we're fixing a problem with the pool- I've updated the pool status - we hope to have it fixed shortly - we turned off the stratum so no one wastes hash.

sorry for the delay

Someone in the shoutbox wants to know.....can he set his miner to the syscoin pool before you switch it on so he can go to bed?
Good question, will the pool accept his hash when you switch it on?
I know until then its just going into space.
Thanks,

yes - he can - as soon as the syscoin pool wallet is relaesed and the stratum becomes active your miners will kick in.

I'm starting this thread as the official Lifeforce.info Pools Support Thread.

I recently acquired the Lifeforce.info pools from the original creator of the pools ('Sta').

Currently we mine: Guncoin, EMC2 and Noblecoin - I will be making announcements in each of those Coin threads.

We will be adding several of the most profitable coins soon and will also be creating pools for many of the new coins as they're released.

I am not adverse to adding pools for X11, Nist5 etc algo coins, but it all depends on the coin and in my opinion are there enough miners of a coin to insure that miners find enough blocks to make the pool worth while to mine in.

There are certain coins such as NAUT that have difficulties so high it would never make sense to add a pool for that coin.

My personal preference is to focus on coins where small miners can still generate a decent daily revenue from coins that have not been brutalized by huge private mining farms.

Coins that I'm seriously considering adding are: Argentum, Netcoin, Octocoin, USDE and some others - I look forward to your recommendations as well - please.

If there are new coins that you believe will get traction and there are enough miners interested - I will add the coins.

I'm taking a close look at putting in some block finder bonuses also on some of the coins.

I typically get up at 5 am every morning and spend two hours looking at coin values and personally I'm not a fan of multi-pools since they're always chasing after the highest paying coins and my experience has been that by the time you mine these coins and finally get them into your wallet or exchange account the people who already had those coins in their wallets or accounts have sold at the high prices and you wind up mining high and selling low (or holding high if you don't sell) - it's very frustrating

My strategy has always been to mine low and sell high - when difficulties and network hash are low - it's time to mine.

The perfect example was last week when Viacoin was about to fork and there was some question as to whether certain pools had the right wallet - the difficulty and network hash plummeted and with my hash I was able to mine 4,000 Via in 2.5 days as everyone else sat on the sidelines and watched - it was amazing. Timing is everything in this market so my goal is to help miners in Lifeforce.info pools make the right decisions as to what to mine.

I hope I can help all of your make lots of money, because after all isn't that what most of us are here for?

Our primary server is based in Eastern Canada and is a 4 core 32GB SSD system with hourly backups to a remote linux box - Databases and wallets are backed up hourly.
We have two Vardiff stratum servers - one U.S Based and EU based running NOMP

Thanks!

Jeff
