I'm sorry, man, but it's the same for me. I also made KYC with them (SCB AG) and I paid 100 EUR to the indicated account in a Lithuanian bank. I made the payment on May 31. Since then, support has stopped responding to my emails. There is no trace of the transfer nor deposited EURS. The money is gone.
Unfortunately, I'm starting to worry that Stasis will turn out to be a thief, a scam.

Dear Kokum,

If you still haven't gotten the EURS, could you please reach out to our manager Sandu in Telegram (https://t.me/STASISCOMMUNITY); he will be able to check the payment status and assist you in case of any questions!

i have poked them on facebook, they apologized and told me that there was change in video verification script. i have done verification again, but it has been a week since and still nothing. i will update this thread when something new happens.

so... i`ve received a message that "verification went bad again" and that they are returning money. they did as they said, whole process from deposit to return took 56 days Undecided so no way for me to buy eurs from them...

I would personally recommend exchange https://www.tokens.net/ trade your EURS. It's just very simple to use, experience is great and you can even use millions of tools to do more sophisticated trading. Just a great exchange.

Tokens.net is great, that's right. I also use HitBTC and DSX. Hopefully, we will see EURS listed on largest exchanges soon with greater liquidity. Good job so far! I like you are focusing on regulation and transparency on first hand!
Rank 79 coinmarketcap / $34 851 258 USD marketcap / $399 098 USD Volume 24h - these are excellent indicators.

Important to mention is that their volume is real and transparent. While we certainly cannot say that for other exchanges, as actually majority of the "recorded" volume is fake.

Great question about how we make money. The main way is from earning interest on the euro reserves. Our custodians, who safely hold the reserves for us, pay us a small fee for storing the money with them. As the reserves continue to grow, that "small" fee will grow as well, since it's a percentage of the total reserve amount. This is the primary source of funds for covering our operating costs. We also make some income through fees associated with creating/redeeming EURS.

This model is fairly standard in the stablecoin space. If you have any more questions, we're happy to answer them as best we can!

This actually makes much sense. With a big amount of "holding capital" you can definitely generate revenue. You can even "lock" up some part of this capital (like 10%) and generate more revenues in relative terms.

obviously it is possible to make low risk income from the stash of cash
it is sticky and very forecastable

I would really like the team to explain to me how and when are they making income. Nothing wrong with it (of course), but it's a key piece of information to see the incentive of the team to the project.

Smells like a scam.

why do you think so? Looks pretty legit for me. They have a very strong team and they are about to get a full audit and have it quarterly.

https://www.coindesk.com/stablecoin-issuer-stasis-promises-full-audits-of-euro-backed-crypto-token

To me it also looks quite legit. I just hope that the quarterly done audit will actually be done properly by the big four...

My question here is: if the backing is always 1:1, how do you - your team, company itself - make money? You still have costs, for example salaries and you need to pay them.

As cryptocurrency market volatility has increased over the past month, demand for stablecoins has soared. We’re excited to announce a new emission of 15 million EURS as we continue to provide investors and individuals with both the benefits of cryptocurrency and the stability of the euro.

Check our transparency page to see the total amount of EURS: https://stasis.net/transparency/

Well, I am glad that demand for your coin has increased.

Why are you exactly printing out 15 mil of EURS? Why aren't you just another USDT?
If I check your site, I see 27.291.000 EURS being a total supply, while the bank statement says that you have on bank account 91.000 EUR. Shouldn't the parity be 1:1? What am I missing?

This week, a new client bought 15 mil of EURS. He transferred cash and we have emitted new tokens. The parity will always be 1:1

I think there are to many of stable coins, and they most look a like

Oh yes, there's no difference at all between allegedly auditable and really auditable, EUR-pegged, USD-,commodity- multi-currency-, and crypto-pegged, and algorithmic, and expected-to-be-state-issued,  and so on Smiley) we have Bitcoin, why make the fuss with some other coins at all  Grin Grin

The multiplicity of stables must be the sign that they are requested by the market, but none has found (or made clear they did) a perfect implemetnation yet.

It is interesting to see everybody being so obsessed with security tokens that actually offer zero value right now as infrastructure to trade them is non existent.

It is also not a regulatory arbitrage tool as all security laws and requirements will apply to security tokens similar how they applied to securities.

in simple words: dont expect an option to send apple stock over blockchain any time soon, regardless of the possibility to create one within platforms like stasis

I've checked your https://stasis.net/eurs/. I do understand use cases and they of course make sense. How it works however is too complicated. I understand that it is hard to explain, however there are some terms that just don't have an explanation good enough. Like for example security? What do you mean exactly by that term?

On this page, by securities we mean financial instruments, as in https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/security.asp
We plan to be able to tokenize not just fiat money, but assets like options, bonds, futures, swaps... You just bring us some stocks, we store them in our reserves and issue for you as much EURS as they are worth.

Thank you for the answer.

Tokenize securities? From traditional sectors?
For example, I come to you with a stock of Apple. Let's say that atm the Apple worth is 200 EUR. I put stock in to your reserve and you give me 200 EUR forever? What if that stock price drops? Will you be keeping them or selling instantly?
Storing them means that you are exposed to a market risk, thus your business is basically also depended on your financial/investment knowledge. I wouldn't want to "sell" you security for EURS and see you fail because, you haven't sold enough stocks in your reserve. You default and my EURS are worthless.

I've consulted my colleagues, here is more accurate information:

We can mirror your stock on the blockchain and issue the crypto version of your stock to you. It is not EURS.

The tokenized stock is backed by actual one in our custody. Hence, there’s never a price inconsistency between the two.

And if I sell my tokenized stock or it gets stolen, is than the owner of that actual stock a person that holds the tokenized stock? If that person comes to claim the original stock, you just give it to him?

Secondly, why would I want to use that service to create a tokenized stock, if I have a "normal" one in my possession? I can't think of an example, when would I have the need for this service.

No one other than you can claim the rights to your asset because we would  want a proof of ownership through a KYC procedure.

regarding your second question, there are in theory lots of reasons to tokenize stock, lots of ideas of what to do with it, but there is no infrastructure to implement these possibilies yet. We are building the tokenization platform, this is our part. Other parts of infrastructure are being built by companies that chose to develop them. We take the part of tokenizing your stock -- safely, transparently, with legal complience, and so on -- and you decide what to do with it Smiley

Tokenization is, in fact, converting rights to an asset into a digital token. After that, you are supposed to operate your asset through operating tokens, which gives you all the benefits of the blockchain everybody talks about: transparency, the removal of intermediaries, hence higher transaction speed and lower fees, expanded range of potential counterparties (in traditional finance, certain groups of investors have problems accessing certain types of markets, like, people from Asia have a lot of trouble trying to invest in American real estate), and so on.

I want to invest in this, your project is very ambitious

We do not have a public whitepaper since we are not planning an ICO. We have Terms Of Token for clients, and a strong Legal Opinion. We can share all this with you under a non-disclosure agreement for a known entity. Please contact us at [email protected].

You wrote. "The EURS marker is a virtual financial asset that is designed for digital mirroring of EUR based on 1: 1." And what follows from this? You are not going to withdraw your coin to the exchange? There after all the coin at the rate of 1: 1 will not be on sale?

Anyone who holds EURS can transfer them to an exchange where EURS is listed and trade cryptos with them. Then at any moment you can exchange other cryptos to EURS on exchange and  transfer them to your STASIS wallet.A token holder can sell them to receive traditional fiat assets. EURS will be always 1:1 to the euro.

Could you maybe explain a bit more why is EIP-20 standard better for you than ERC-20 standard? What are the pros and cons?

Not that there are actual "cons"... we chose EIP rather out of perfectionism Smiley as it is finalized and formalized ERC, officially adopted and announced.

Token or Coin question I believe, to rephrase it, means: Ethereum or blockchain on its own. STASIS uses ethereum network but EIP-20 coin, thus it is a token (I guess). Could you maybe explain a bit more why is EIP-20 standard better for you than ERC-20 standard? What are the pros and cons?

Who is doing auditing of STASSIS EURS stable coin and how much is total supply of coins? Only Big Four company?

Token or coin... We really need a bit more information...

Love this question about "token" or "coin"... I've read the opinions in the respective thread about the difference between "coins" and "tokens", let me share our approach. We think that while a coin is a virtual asset, an inherent and integral part of a distributed ledger technology associated with it, a token is a crypto-asset, an inherent and integral part of a smart contract, executed on top of an independent distributed ledger. So EURS is a coin. Regarding our auditors -- we are announcing them soon, some paperwork needs to be finalized before we speak of them publicly.

Oh gosh....one more stable coin...

Who is doing auditing of STASSIS EURS stable coin and how much is total supply of coins? Only Big Four company?

Token or coin... We really need a bit more information...

We provide three verification streams to ensure the sufficiency and transparency of the balances for all STASIS accounts:

Daily statements based on statements from the counterparty
Quarterly verification by a Big Four company
Verification by a Big Four company on demand of an onboarded entity

At the moment total supply of tokens is 12 291 000 EURS. You can always check and see our daily statements here: https://stasis.net/transparency/
