Ledger Nano S, can't recommend it enough
Coinomi worked great for me. First time i used it was to split Bgold but have since used it

I have not tried bitcoin gold but in general I always compile my wallets from source code at github to avoid viruses and to get an optimized version for my hardware and OS. I use Linux so it is quite easy to compile a wallet. Just follow instructions on github.

i use coinoni on my android smartphone for bitcoin gold and it seems to work fine
