I'm trying to use an Acer C710 Chromebook to hold my offline wallet for Bitcoin Armory.

Trying to figure the best way to do it right with respect to security. Has anyone had any experience with using a Chromebook for this?

My baseline plan is to use Crouton (https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton) to install a Ubuntu xfce chroot, and install Armory within that. Crouton apparently allows encryption of the filesystem, and separate storage of the decryption keys. I would disconnect the Chromebook permanently from the network prior to installing Armory, and use only USB thumb-drives for moving transactions.

Does this sound like a secure setup for my coins? Would love to hear from someone who's done the same thing with success (or failure!).

Cheers
