hello
I'm a senior cryptographic engineer and I'm quitting my job in a few months.
I've been thinking about what to do next, and I have an exciting idea that I'm trying to challenge.
I've been interested in all types of meshnetworks for 14 years, lowlevel reverse for 20 years, and in BLE for 1 year now.
I want to explore the subject of networkless transactions (cellular or internet) and I have some ideas I want to try.
I have a little bit of savings to start with, but if people want to work with me, or help finance other low level devs, let me know.

Among my research, I just found this new Berty protocol very interesting, and I would like to start hacking it for bitcoin.
berty is based on ipfs, they're focus on mobile challenges, and BLE :
https://github.com/berty

they've just released a protocol quick presentation :
https://berty.tech/docs/protocol/  i'm currently auditing it, and it seems clever, and I think it could be interesting for bitcoin

Do you know of any projects already working on BLE that could help feed my research?
Is my idea already seen elsewhere or useless? is berty already known in Europe?
do you think bitcoin need it?

(sorry if it's not to good thread for this, i'm newbie here, and I'm an old fuddy-duddy)
