I just wanted to add that if you choose a full-node client for your online wallet (e.g. Armory), and if you also choose not to keep that full-node client connected most of the time, you could run into delays.

Armory (the one you have running online) for will refuse to create a transaction until it has finished syncing.

SOrry for the late answer , haha Cheesy
Alright got it , thank you so much mate  Embarrassed

While receiving is independent of the way you store your private keys and sending or broadcasting a signed TX is as well, the signing required to make a valid TX is not.
In order to send bitcoin you need to sign a TX with the correct private key. Once the signed TX is on an online machine it makes no difference from hot storrage. It might however take some time to get the unsigned TX to your offline wallet, sign it and get it back. This greatly depends on how you transfer the data.
