The world will continue to rotate whatever is the season and celebration that we are having. So, peace is within our minds but it is sad that there are a lot of people that needs to go through tough Christmas because of where they are living and the condition that they are facing. I haven't even read anything about ceasefire, did you? Because that's probably what they can only do for this season but the sad truth is they will come back and continue the war once the holidays ended. Wars and conflict have always been happening, we are human with many
different views and fighting more or less over a finite entity - earth in a
very general sense

and conflict.
Putin won't stop because he doesn't care. He's lost over 500k soldiers in the last 2 years. He kept going in Christmas of 2023, so why would he change now?
Some people have no conscience, we have to accept that. Not all of us are normal human beings, some are sociopaths and in a way you have to be a sociopath to become a dictator, or to start a war that will claim millions of human lives.

You are being quite optimistic, I am afraid.
Unfortunately Christmas time will not stop wars and those who benefit from it, by the purchasing and selling of weapons and military equipment. Also, you need to be aware in the case of the middle east, there are groups that do not necessarily agree on the celebration of Christmas, so to them it is irrelevant when comes to abandoning their weapons for a ceasefire or not.
I would not be surprised if in the middle east either Hamas/Hebollah or the State of Israel took advantage of these days to launch more aggressive attacks, assuming their enemies are going to be low guard.
True victims of all these wars and conflicts are the children whom won't be able to celebrate Christmas with their family like they used to, ever again, in my opinion.
Sadly warmongering, blood thirsty leaders with agendas do not care what day of the year it is. The main hope we have is that when Trump is in power he brokers peace talks. For a start I think he will help Ukraine & Russia stop their war, he’s already hinted at stopping of decreasing military aid to Zelensky. It’s a war Ukraine can not win so they are going to have to concede some territory to Putin.
Christmas is not the season of peace. Christmas is the season of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Domestic violence rates go UP around the Christmas season. Humans are stupid ass pieces of shit who deserve to go extinct in a pandemic of mirror superbacteria. And I am going to make sure that the entire mirror bacteria thing happens by refusing to get the necessary safety protocol implemented. Unless of course, humans apologize and improve their behavior and behaviour.

Unfortunately, Christmas isn't factor or reason to stop war. War continues as usual, no matter what day we have on calendar - Christmas, New Year, Easter, Hanukkah or just insert anything here what you want. And making peace for few days as you offering and then continue it, it doesn't makes much sense.
And if we look at war in Ukraine, they and Russia don't even celebrate Christmas now as they're Orthodox and Christmas for them is on 7th January.

Well, Christmas does not bring peace, it instead does the opposite, as it's a period for many in the World to take a break & violate the laws of the CREATOR even more, while celebrating the birth of someone they call Jesus. It's a time of more partying, drunkeness, gluttony, fornication, eye service, wasteful spending, idolatry, etc.

I doubt if there will be a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia because both nations want to gain more ground before the inauguration of Donald Trump. Plus Ukraine and Russia celebrates Christmas at a different time. They use Julian calendar so their Christmas is in Jan 7th. The Zelensky leadership on the other hand celebrates according to Gregorian calendar. So difficult to agree on ceasefire.

There are reports that the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Gaza is 90% done. Maybe we might have peace before Christmas.
We also hope that there will be no escalation between Israel and Iran. Heeding to the suggestion of Mossad Director David Barnea that Israel should attack Iran in response to Houthi missile that hit Israel will make this Christmas a bloody one.
