Problem solved. Apparently (according to reddit thread below) they weren't using the country code but they have fixed it. I tried it again and now it works.

I'm guessing that this may be an issue with my Verizon service not receiving the (international) text message sent from OKCoin.

I was able to get my account SMS verified with no issues.
Last time I check, they will let you use mobile phone from another country for sms verification.
Could be mistaken this for another China exchange.

Is there anyone here from the US who has set up an international account at OKcoin? I've set one up and have successfully verified my email and personal information. I've also successfully set up google auth. However, when I try to do the SMS verification step, at the point where I expect to get a text message from OKcoin, it never shows up. I logged a support ticket yesterday but have yet to receive an answer. So:
1. Has anyone in the US set up an account successfully?
2. Is anyone having the same problem I'm having with SMS verification?
