It's great seeing a massive shift happening towards Malta, but the thing that not many people think about is the centralization aspect of all these crypto related businesses.

What if other countries try to extort Malta in whatever shape or form just to get their toxic anti crypto incentives nursed? I strongly hope that it won't happen, but it's impossible to discard either. It's yet another potential single point of failure. I strongly hope that more countries will follow to compete with Malta, all to make sure that everything concerning this industry is well distrubuted. It's better for everyone, but people as always don't see a problem until it pops in their face.

Jul.2, 2018, OKEx, the world's leading digital assets exchange established an office and hired local staff in Malta. The registered name will be changed to be ACX Malta Technology Company Limited from the original OKEx Technology Company Limited.

This is the official step OKEx announced to market in Malta soon after OKEx met Honourable Silvio Schembri, member of Parliament and the Junior Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation, who is responsible for implementing Malta’s Blockchain strategy. Melta is seeking to become the world's safe & sound jurisdictions for digital assets, and the Malta Digital Innovation Authority Act creates a solid foundation for the blockchain industry, thus, OKEx, one of the most well-known platforms of digital assets exchanges which has provide 400 cryptocurrency trading pairs for millions of customers with the first-tier service, is the most ideal choice for Malta. And absolutely, this is a win-win strategy.
