i've done a withdraw from mtgox to okpay on friday and today the status from my mtgox withdraw is "todo". i contact mtgox and they told me that this status means that the transfer has been initiated and they soon will fund the okpay account. so in this case i don't think the okpay has any problems, so far mtgox didn't push the transaction forward

Did you withdraw bitcoin to okpay, or use a mt gox code? The people above were complaining about their bitcoin funding not going through. I understand the 5% fee, but there is some convenience in okpay that I like.

It seems, that they do not read that forum. And before posting here, I've called them, and they gave me redeemable MtGox USD code (they offered bitcoins first).

Their last activity on the forum was in April.

Their "customer service" performance in the forums hasn't exactly been stellar.

I think they read this forum, and a lack of response does not honor. We are awaiting an official response. Patience has its limits.

well i never try to fund the okpay account using btc but i'm guessing there is a sort of verification for this kind of transaction if not the okpay wallet has some problems receiving btc atm.
my transactions with okpay was : btc wallet -mtgox usd - withdraw mtgox usd to okpay and the entire transaction took 10 min to have my okpay account funded

Any business which allows instant transactions is going to get hit with fraudulent transactions sooner or later.  Smaller businesses have little capacity to cope with this.  People have probably tried to manipulate their system with fraudulent transactions and they're likely trying to work out a way to deal with that.
Then enable manual verification for bitcoin transactions.
Even though disabling automatic deposits, and verifying each transaction one by one shouldn't take time from Apr 17 (more than a month)...

Manual verifications aren't a viable once you reach a certain level of transactions without putting on additional staff.  Most small businesses either run at a loss or barely break even in their early stages and can't afford to hire more staff.  Manual verifications are extremely time-consuming, so small, start-up businesses operated by one or two people have a limited capacity to perform them as the need to do so increases.

And no, it shouldn't take a month or more for them to process transactions, but if they have been hit with deposit fraud who knows how it's affected their cash flow or their trading accounts (both currency and Bitcoin)?  When they were first mentioned on the forum, the thing which struck me most apart from their fees was how vulnerable their business model was to fraud.

did you withdraw btc in to okpay account? or mtgox usd to okpay?

I funded okpay with my bitcoin, using add funds in okpay menu.

Didn't know mtgox can be used to fund okpay, I'll try that later.

It's still pending...
Since Apr. 17.

No news from the company.
What kind of business does this?!
Why don't they REFUND my bitcoins instead of holding them for UNLIMITED (unspecified) TIME and leaving no choice to their customers?!?!?!

Mtgox seems, has yet to pay the money to okpay. This is causing a temporary blockage of acceptance bitcoin.

Well, they will probably perform your transaction. The reason could be they are out of money, maybe they bought some food or something with it.

This "company" is not a scam, but not very professional, their HQ could be in a basement, but I would not know that, just that some person called them
and a baby was crying in the background while support was handling the customer(found that online).

I used them for an amount of $25, I managed to get $15 out at wmxchange, and $10 is still with them, for AML reasons.
It seems even if they work as an exchange service (you deposit an e-currency and you get another) I was doing money washing. ($10)

My account was verified, but they decided to ask me for a picture of me holding my ID in my hand.

I told them to keep the money to buy some food.

P.S. if you want to see whats up, you can always add that guy on skype, not much English from him, but at least he replies fast.

I'm not worried, Okpay is doing excellent work, but should talk more with their customers. I want to use them on my site for sale but I can not afford to stop work and not knowing anything. Customers should be informed about what happens otherwise freezes everything.

My ticket reply:
All the Bitcoin deposits will be released next week.
Thank you.

I made an account just because okpay bitcoin agree, but I can not wait days.
If my main bank, to cut me off the euro, for so long, I already closed the account.
I have some projects using them, but now I'm about to start doubting whether or not such activity
Okpay, if you want to keep the customers you should offer more stability.

You should not worry, if they told you next week, it will be next week I guess.

I would not stop using them because they inactivated bitcoin for a while, I'm sure they didn't have another choice.
Maybe they should've updated their clients more, but if they reactivate bitcoin deposits this little delay will be forgotten soon:)

I sent them a ticket, but no reply yet.
I found this on their Add money site:

Bitcoin
Your bitcoin deposit will be accepted and put on a pending state. All the payments you receive on the old bitcoin addresses will be processed same way. Instant bitcoin processing will be resumed soon.

Not sure what could be their problem. Hope they resume working with bitcoin soon, I really liked their services:)

Hi!
I was using okpay without any problems since about a month, deposited bitcoins to my okpay account daily.
They always got credited to my account after the 6 confirmations.
But today, deposits are still pending in my balance, even though they have like 90, and the 2nd depo around 20 confirmations.

I'd like to know if anyone uses them and have the same problems?
I don't want to spam them with support tickets until I know if it's related only to my account or to everyone else's...
Thanks!
