hmmm its a wire tx to CZ, so not on FREE faster pay
My bank will charge me £25......

So I'll continue to use Currency Fair and EURO's for inwards.
I'll use it for large withdrawals from BTC-e though

Your better off using http://dagensia.eu. It's a much quicker and overall better service than OkPay.
Couldn't see a GBP option dagensia?

Interesting.

I tried with CurrencyFair the other day and was not able to transfer to Bitstamp, but in fairness they were very apologetic when I spoke to them about it and it's clear it's definitely not their fault or something they have control over.

Will give OKPAY a try now.

I used to use currency fair to transfer to bitstamp also, but they like transfer wise stopped this in the summer.
Currency fair IMHO are an excellent outfit and like everyone else in the UK are dictated to by the banks on these matters.
I'm pleased that OKPAY withdrawals are back on the table. I nearly purchased some more anonymous polish (EURO) visa cards lol
But I like the security of someone to moan at if it goes wrong. I had opened a payeer account but could not bring myself to use it as it felt dodgy.

Funds released and now in BTC-e Grin

Ok so now let's try the return journey.

BTC-e --> Okpay (euro) --> currency fair --> GBP My Bank

Please keep let us know if you have success! Is it safe to assume it will be ok given that the outward transaction was processed? Then again, you never know...

So changed my Euro to USD on the OKPAY site (Was a better rate than selling them on the BTC-e market)
And transferred my USD from OKAPY to BTC-e

OKPAY have now froze this payment and opened a support ticket for me  Angry

And as with my 1st ticket
My transaction is not GBP via MAYZUS
but EURO via SOFORT so is not contravening their new rules

Again, I'll keep you posted

In an effort not to check the

tick box

The EURO TX goes via SOFORT and not MAYZUS and there is no Tick Box

My UK Bank GBP --> Currencyfair --> EURO --> SEPA TX to OKPAY

Good exchange rate and only a €3 to exchange and TX as opposed to a £4 TX and OKPAY's awful exchange rate.
Be interesting to see what the return journey (if there is one) looks like, as NATWEST charge me £25 to receive from OKPAY.......

Hopefully a EURO to Currencyfair and local FREE faster pay TX

OKPAY EURO SEPA --> Currencyfair --> GBP --> FasterPay Free TX --> My Bank!

Any ways, I've got a ticket open and have had to send OKPAY extra info and ID's as to why its a 3rd party wire TX.

I'll keep you posted.

I was just about to send some GBP to OKPAY to then pass to BTC-e (as i've done on numerous occasions and found this very hassle free) and I noticed the checkbox

So I researched a bit and found this thread and this article
http://newsbtc.com/2013/12/05/okpay-says-way-cryptocurrencies/

So prob alright to send to sellers on Localbitcoins.com but not to send to BTC-e

So its back to the drawing board and find another way of getting fiat in and out from the UK....   Angry

I'll look into the money polo option
Or even see if i can send USD /EUR from currency fair /  transfer wise
The check box is only on GBP

Years ago I remember liberty reserve exchangers in the UK having their accounts closed because in order to accept cash deposits in the UK you need all kinds of licenses and a local corporation. Nothing stopping you from using Moneypolo money transfer though.. is it still a deposit option?
Their parent company "mayzeus" allows it.

This is the latest received in response to the question in the screenshot:

We have received a notification from the UK bank Voice Commerce Limited prohibited further exchange of the funds deposited via this bank into crypto-currencies. We have to follow these requirements otherwise our account in this bank will be closed.
Please use other deposit options.

Thank you.

So the people OKPAY use to bank are refusing the request?

Would like to know if anyone else has had a similar experience in the UK.

I had transferred around 150 gbp to my OKPAY account to them move on to some crypto exchanges. The payment was put on hold (not so uncommon), but this time I was met with the following message:

Still waiting on reply will update.
Anyone heard similar?
