An update, their CEO called me and wanted to settle and "buy our PPM programming unit" that we had to buy to fix their mistakes. We refused to sell the unit but agreed to settle. When they realized they weren't getting it they dropped communication.

One of the most unethical companies I've ever seen. Won't it be a surprise when we have statements from the manufacturer countering their claims...

Yeah Chris, agreed it's strange. So far we did not so many sales like GB, but we've started much more later, but our clients is satisfied and happy clients. Worldwide clients know us emWerk payment kiosks, that work around the world. It will be true to say that our cryptocurrency ATM solutions  based on more than 20 years experience background in Banking and Fintech areas.

I heard about this problem from the other operators as well.
Our company was developing ATM Software for more than 15 years and we spent 1,5 years to develop software for our Trovemat crypto ATMs.
Now it's 100% complete solution that's working good.
We're interested in cooperation with crypto ATMs oprators and open to negotiate best suitable conditions for you.
You can check our web page: www.trovemat.com and feel free to contact me regarding questions you might have.

I can't see you anywhere on the https://coinatmradar.com/charts/#by-manufacturer map? Less than 1% marketshare is not creating any confidence with potential clients.

Why would people go for an unproven ATM solution? I did that back in 2014 where I got myself a BitXatm machine, only to find out my 11+ bitcoin where stolen from the wallet that was in the machine (! yes, how stupid, INSIDE the machine!) For this reason alone I would only select a reputable brand myself with the market share to back it. Only that way you know that you have a solid solution that will last you for years.

Are you (Trovomat?) affiliated with the BTC-O-Matic machines? That was my first ATM back in 2013. The BTC-O-Matic was huge, only worked like 10% of the time and only worked with this dodgy Russian BTC-E exchange. I never lost any bitcoins using that machine but did not make any money either (because of the many downtimes) It looked exactly like the machine you created at trovomat except a different color scheme. It is big enough to put  a sleeping bag in, for the operator so he can camp out next to the ATM and reboot it whenever it freezes up.  Grin

BTW: Pretty sad that you have to hijack another thread to advertise your ATMs. Google Ads too expensive?

Hello Mr General Bytes employee!

Long time you was sleeping. It's time to awake. I know you trying to protect your products, but we not blaming it. Time will show who loose and who win. I just advise you to learn more about products, you trying to blame, before make such unprofessional and fanny post.

As a long time GB customer, I have no hesitation in recommending them or their equipment.
I've bought and operate a number of their BATM 2 and 3's
All have arrived in excellent condition, have been packaged to ensure transport is as safe as is possible their side.

Where support has been required, it has been overall good. Once or twice it felt slow, but then I was also impatient as I wanted the problem resolved there and then (don't we all!).

The purpose of my post? A little balance. It appears you have had a particularly bad experience and for various reason its seems, many of which are out of GB's control.

Having met the CEO and Martijn. AND having spent a large mount of money with them, I am inclined to believe that they are doing their best where possible.
Just my 2 cents and I hope your problems get resolved. The hardware is superb and is most certainly great value especially after 2+ years of operations and uptime for us.

Oh, and by the way, Martijn, whoever wrote your sales agreement should know that you are required to warranty all electronics in the EU for 2 years, not 1. Maybe you should check on that. So for I've got 3/3 operators who have machines offline and no support. We're reaching out to operators for a class action.

I'm also taking my case to the Masternodes and see if they will pull your escrow. We have other manufacturers that are eager to add full Dash support.

What's this about? There's no coin named General Bytes?
What's it doing in Altcoin Discussion?

They do malfunctioning ATMs that sell altcoins, it's properly placed.

Damn, I see so much pain and suffering in that text. It already start looking like a normal thing that the producers fo any crypto related devices don't care about their customers. They don't have any competitors for now and they still can take their profit. In usual business such things about delays are usually signed in the contract so in case of any issues buyer could have a big compensation. All delays are always a monetary loss for a buyer.
