It is not totally dead, how it can "rehab" like laptops etc, but something is clearly wrong. Temperature rises almost +100 C Then it starts that VERY LOUD beeping noise. I know there's are a possibility to order totally new bitcoin hashingboards.
Clock speed rises that 1,09 Th/s.

Okay I'm trying to follow you and assist.

Your saying you restart it and it runs.                 It reaches 1.09TH/s which is fine for the S5.                 Then it hits temps of 100C, this is not good.

So your problems are going to be either the fan is dying and can't keep up, or you are not exhausting the heat properly.

I get that the equipment has run fine for years, but electronics fail and die all the time, and can't always be rehabed. The very loud beeping is a safety alarm I believe the S5's had for high temp warnings.

So looking at your picture let the unit cool down and you may save the hashboard, no guarantee. Move it to a space where it will exhaust the heat better. If you have a spare S5 fan you can attach it to the other side of the miner and run 2 fans to provide better cooling. There is a connection for it next to where the first fan connects to the control board. Also check the miner over and see if it needs a good cleaning if is dust and dirt on the heatsinks and fins it can't dissipate heat properly.

You may have already destroyed the one hashboard beyond saving and can try the marketplace to find a replacement, but I would say it's time to try and get something else. Maybe watch cryptouniverse for their next batch of used 741's or something like that.

Good luck

Thx, I have nothing problems with cooling even summertime. Chinese multi-functional ASIC is on my mind =) It is interesting to see what is new products of different engineers design and factories product. 741 is many times faster then AntMiner S5.

If the unit is dead here is a thread in the Marketplace where someone is buying dead hardware.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wtb-any-dead-mining-equipment-bitmain-s7s9d3-etc-2608970

That's what I did in December with my dead s5's, and various other parts.

If you do plan on merging the miner with another one, just remember to check the cables running from the control board to the hashboards as there were different models with a different number of connector pins.

I found that out when I first tried to do the same thing.  Best of luck

Clock speed rises that 1,09 Th/s. The interface shows two shells are out of bitcoin hashing speed. (ASIC 30 and ASIC 28)

Yes.
You have one dead hash board.

Btw, that image was very blurry.

Before that broke, it runs big variants clock speed many years.

You have a card failure.  You can try resetting the power connectors to that card, and any control cables (sorry, skipped S5s so don't know the configuration), but likely its just finally died.

Maybe its beeping because of high temperatures? Do you have maybe some option in UI window to see when it should "Inform you". Something like "Beep on 90C"? Did you try to turn it on and off, which PSU are you using. And final question. Give us SS like HaggsFIN said.

It works many years without problems. I use 750w Power, yes I trying to turn it off.

It's really hard to help you as you don't provide that much of information for us to diagnose.

So instead of getting mad, you could actually help us to help you on the issue.

And do you realise this? --> you only have the chance for finding the 12.5BTC block reward if you are solo mining.

If you do regular pool mining with your miner, you don't get to keep the pool reward even if you would happen to find the block.

Oh, wish I have some power on my mining hardware I have only that AntMiner S5. It hashing with half power may I change frequency
back to 350? It running +95 C and starting to "beep beep"

+90 Celsius temperature is way too high, no wonder you might have issues.

Is that only one board or do both boards have such a high temperature?

Yea, when its beep on 4 am in morning, I turn it off so clusters not melt. Now it's working 700-800 Gh/s.
I am very mad because of its only extra source of money. Example pool block reward, I can build everything that I want 12,5 BTC

Sounds like the other hash board is dead.

Can you post a screenshot image showing the miner status page?

Its not dead running +90 C temperatures, looking for AntMiner S5 configure page.

Hey,

I have issues for AntMiner S5. 50% hashing power is gone  Undecided

It start that loud beeping sound 4 am on local Finland time, then it stop. Earlyer it works correctly on more then 1Th/s->

Where i can diagnose this issue?
