You should prepare it to mine ETHER when Frontier is going live. Check https://www.reddit.com/r/Ethereum

Or if you want to get a flat money you can sell it.  Cool

In the end, that might be the best option... It would take a really long time to make a couple of bucks mining any coin, especially if you factor in power consumption and time....

If you sell it for fiat or BTC, you have some cash straight away

I agree, I think that you could use it for alt coins.  Some alt coins can really rise in value, so I would rotate between shit coins with the lowest difficulty, and save  them up for a spike in price.  I don't think you are going to make money for sure like this, and it might take some time, but it is your best chance with an old rig for gpu imo.

So I happened to find an old bitcoin mining rig thats still in complete working condition, it has 10 GPU's and a power supply, i don't think it would be profitable to use it for mining, is there anything else i can do with 10 GPU's?
It would be hard to define complete working condition. Even though it is working, the performance is likely to be lower due to the long hours of power on time. Failure rate would be quite high due to the constant heat too. If it has 10 GPU with one single power supply, it would possibly be a low powered GPU, not suitable for gaming. You may want to try to use it for alt coin mining. Due to the volatility, your profitability can be negative or positive.

what gpu are there? if they are good gpu you can sell those and earn some bitcoin on the market, they will be used for gaming by someone else, so you can assume that you can sell them fairly easily

otherwise you can try to mine some altcoin, if the overall hashrate is good enough

Is there a single PSU that can support 10 GPUs?

As has been suggested, sell it for parts and get the BTC that way.  You could also set it up as some kind alt-coin rig and let people rent it out on MRR.

Game on it  Grin You could also try altcoin mining or as TheRealSteve said, use it for other distributed computation projects. You could also sell them for Bitcoin. Go over the the marketplace and put up sell offers for your GPUs. Someone will probably buy them.

If you're not planning on using it for profit (or marginal / luck'o'the draw), altcoins, vanity address generation and a plethora of distributed computation projects come to mind.

A space heater perhaps  Wink

I think GPU mining for bitcoin cannot be profitable anymore, but maybe some altcoins? Depends on your GPU, your electricity rate and the amount of effort you want to put in...

I'm not an expert on this either, but i think if you specify your electricity rate and the GPU's model, some people might be able to offer you some advice.
