Can be possible, not sure about the foil. Only tested the diamonds and they are real.
It was a part of a Dutch family jewelry collection, but its possible they bought it that time in Belgium.

Sometimes they put gold foil behind the stones. Could also be the case here.
I would dare say this piece has Belgian roots.
Not saying anything about authenticity, but the style sure looks belgian, i see it on the markets here from time to time.

Yes the diamonds have colors, most are white / white-yellowisch, but the biggest center diamond is pinkisch/orange.
Rare fancy colors.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Not a diamond expert here, but are those orange/yellow diamonds? Or is that is the way they cam out in the photo? Nice cross btw

Handmade old Dutch cross. Silver 835.
Set with old cut diamonds, guess its +/- 1.50 to 1.75crt, but sure exactly.

Very old cross, around year 1850. Part of the hook is 14k gold.
