Well as long as the private key is inyour possession there nothing to worry about but i agree that niya said you should exchange your bitcoin cash to bitcoin because bitcoin cash price is slowly declining.
If I'm not worried about bitcoin cash failing then I can't see any reason to transfer it now, is there ?
No there is no reason to transfer you bitcoin cash but it is better to sell your bitcoin cash while the price is still high and add it to your current btc.

Thankyou... Yes we was all given this bitcoin cash so it is a bonus, so I'm not too worried about the price, Im quite happy to leave my 2015 paper wallets until bitcoin cash is supported by Coinbase or Exodus and then I will do the split, as long as it is safe to do this.  I was just worried there was a time limit,

If you split them now, you make it easier to sell your Bitcoin Cash when you want to, without having to move your Bitcoins first (for security). If you're not planning on using either Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash for years, there's no need to change anything.

I use Exodus but they don't support Bitcoin Cash yet, Coinbase says they will support bitcoin cash beginning of 2018

Would it be a safe bet to wait till Coinbase of Exodus supports bitcoin cash, then I can separate my bitcoin and bitcoin cash.... For now could I leave my paper wallets from 2015 until 2018 when bitcoin cash is more supported ?

Thanks for that !
Are you saying I should sell my bitcoin cash and purchase bitcoin instead because bitcoin cash might fail.

If I'm not worried about bitcoin cash failing then I can't see any reason to transfer it now, is there ?

Hi All,

I have a few paper wallets I made back in 2015, totalling around 1 bitcoin. I have not accessed these paper wallets in over 2 years and have just left them.

1. Is my bitcoin still safe (I presume so)

2. Is my bitcoin cash safe ? (Can I leave my bitcoin paper wallets for another few years and the bitcoin cash still be safe and accessible at any time? )

3. My choice of wallet Exodus does not yet accept Bitcoin cash, so can I just leave my printed off paper wallets until bitcoin cash has more support and then redeem my bitcoin cash ?

Thanks for help

In short, yes, yes and yes.
But I wouldn't wait too much to redeem your Bitcoin Cash, if I were you. Because no one knows how much this coin will last, it could disappear even before "few years". So it's better to move more quickly. Yet, if you believe this coin (BCH) will last forever, well, you may wait at least another couple of years...
