update:
I have tested the system with the star wars game and it appears to work just fine. I did not test all of the controllers or other games.

Was told it works, I have not played with PS1 stuff before. I have tested the unit with the star wars game and it appears to work fine. I would not assume that everything works (all of the controllers and other games), but it looks to be in good condition.
