Seems that the txid's for the four inputs all come up empty on the block explorers... and interestingly... when I decode it on coinb.in... it says that only 2 of the 4 inputs are signed? Huh

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately i do not really understand what that means. Could you please explain it or send me a link. Is there anything I can do with this transaction?

The raw transaction is this:

If your wallet still has that transaction you can do the following:

In the "Console" found in the "Debug Window" of the "Help" menu type:
Code:
getrawtransaction 07f6dff2acc8f91d496e32bc447e58892c252076a32b573fe1935ef103c9070f

Then press [ENTER] or [RETURN] on your keyboard.

You should get a long string of letters and numbers.  This is the raw bytes of the transaction itself.  It is what is broadcast across the bitcoin network to all nodes, therefore it is public and isn't anything that can be used to steal your bitcoins.

Post that string of characters here and we can tell you more about what happened and if/why the transaction won't confirm.

Hi,

i forgot to say that it was an incoming transaction. So i hoped to get those 3 BTC Cheesy

When i use -zapwallettxes the transaction will not be shown again?

Given the fact that the transaction has been dropped from the memory pool, your transaction will not show up again using "-zapwallettxes".

In this case, there is no way for you to restore it, only the sender could rebroadcast it to the network.

Given the network used to drop unconfirmed transactions in around 72 hours, and your wallet was from 2013 that transaction is long gone Wink

Was the old transaction an incoming or outgoing tx?

If you want the unconfirmed transaction gone and is still in your wallet... you should be able to use the -zapwallettxes commandline option to get it to drop... make sure you take backups etc Wink

Hi,

recently i looked through my Harddrive and found an old wallet.dat from late 2013. I installed Bitcoin core again and downloaded the blockchain to let it sync. Unfortunately there are no coins in it. But there is an old transaction shown which is unconfirmed.

The Adress is: 1DaqWCfP6VUNMcT5s721VcvxHrEnrzPX38
The Transaction-ID is: 07f6dff2acc8f91d496e32bc447e58892c252076a32b573fe1935ef103c9070f

When i search the ID at blockchaininfo it says it cannot be found. Is there any way to investigate what happened to this transaction? Has the Network already "forgotten" it or is there anything i can do?

Thanks a lot in advance
