Casinocoin, Are you available to help support the release in a few days? I know you've been busy with real world matters the last week or so.

I have to finish some testing over the next couple days, then we'll release the code. After that I just need to work out compiling the windows client and we're good to go.

Sell side is really thin on Cryptsy. Some serious hoarding is going on  Smiley
I have been stashing up my mined coins as i am convinced this coin is way under valued, ... just enabled auto-deposit/sell to cryptsy again so there should be a few 1000 csc extra to buy every day.

Man I hate autosell. That crap destroys a coins trade price

Absolutely.  Can't stop autosell but you can slam the breaks on the inflation (mining subsidy).

That new update can't come soon enough.  Give this coin a chance to get off its knees.

Hey ya'll, I've added CSC to my new Multipool. Would love to have some miners stop by and mine! CSC is quite often the most profitable coin!

xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

I've changed this multipool to payout in DarkCoin now instead of BitCoin. CSC is on there and often getting mined.

Cheers!

Some good news i think Wink ..... i did a fork of BitcoinJ (actually on the Digitalcoin fork of BitcoinJ as it already had made some important changes) and created CasinocoinJ as a Java casinocoin client. This fork can be used to create all kind of Java based Casinocoin applications, being web, desktop or mobile. Take a look at https://github.com/ajochems/casinocoinj and try the build. When i run the example it gets stuck on block 719 during download, ... not sure yet whats the issue. I also would like to get a clear list of changes made to casinocoin in v1.2.0 to see if i need to make changes to CasinocoinJ.

Using CasinocoinJ will allow me to create a Casinocoin fork for Andreas Schildbach’s Android bitcoin wallet which will be my next step, .... yes i dropped my previous attempt to create a hybrid mobile wallet as the server part was giving me too much trouble and i decided i do not want the responsibility of online coin storage in light of the recent C-CEX problems. This variant will store its own wallet on the device!

1.2.0 has KGW v2 and digishield. These will affect the diff calcs.

I have KGW now also added to CasinocoinJ (digishield will follow) but those kicked in at 227000 for v1.1 and 445000 for v1.2. I now solved the previous errors when downloading the block chain and have the blockchain now downloaded up to block 5760 but there it gets stuck on a difficulty change again. Anybody know if anything special happened at this block? -> http://csc.blockexp.info/block/0290be2a686d4bcfa7aa3069ecea68638a64d687b1a0cc7e4d6e19010225c082

I've been trading at c-cex for long now, no complaint whatsoever. Of course wallets have issues on most exchanges and people are informed in chat of the same, so welcome to the crypto-world kiddo !! Every exchange closes wallets when there is a problem and it is GOOD on their part to inform the users of the same !!

Also instant support at c-cex is a big win win and have had my issues resolved in a max of 2-3 hrs !! So don't judge a book by chinese whisper reviews, try to read it yourself Smiley

I could swear this is like the 3rd or 4th thread I have read recently with similar C-Cex complaints.  Don't think I will be doing any trading there that's for sure.  Sorry to all those that lost coins!!

SILK. All the cool kids are buying it.
So, C-Cex has now answered my questions concerning my missing CSC coins by again refering to this thread and saying,  "There is our post."   Reading the troll box, it appears that they fuck up several wallets everyday and people still trade there.  I honestly have to wonder now if this isn't just an outright scam.  There's no "Sorry we fucked up and lost your money" or "We would like to find some way to earn your trust" or anything.  What a bunch of dumbass loosers.  C-SUX is a better name for them.  Let the people you know who trade know about all the bullshit going on there.  Save someone the drama and dissappointment.

Anyone notice that there seems to be a CSC hoarding situation on cryptsy? Nobody seems to want to sell coins.

I sold almost all of my coins during that first spike. It's taken me 3 days to buy back in at lower prices.

I'm seeing the same thing.

If we didn't have millions of CSC minted monthly the price would sky rocket right now.  I think the only ones selling are miners.

The order depth it very telling. All it takes is someone coming in to buy 100k to send this back above 900.

Thanks for the link. Looks like they're still paying back a mess-up on DRK from back in February. They're "hoping" to get it all payed off in a year!

C-CEX: Why don't you revert all trades since the fork? Cryptsy does that sometimes in this situation.

After you can see which users have negative balances and it would be up to them to make their account right by transferring more in.

I discussed this with C-cex and he refuses to do so because he doesn't have the BTC to cover the resulting BTC discrepancy. That being said, I believe his resulting BTC liability will be smaller than the CSC liability. However, he hasn't told me what these numbers would be.

I doubt C-cex will find a solution since they seem to lack capitalization. My suggestion would be for you guys to talk to c-cex about potentially investing CSC into his exchange in exchange for some ownership. I don't know if he would consider this, but it could be an appropriate way to fix his CSC discrepancy and show support for the exchange.

If you don't find an alternative to resolve the discrepancy, then c-cex is likely to declare those coins lost.

Thank You for helping to explain situation. All You wrote is true.
I don't agree we have situation is "did not update in time". You can check - old wallet is available, old network is still working. And we have coins in old network. So for us this is like new coins. Usually dev make swap new coins to old one (FRX, CFC etc). In this situation we can only offer coins that exists in old blockchain.

SCAM EXCHANGE!!!!  DO NOT TRADE ON C-CEX!!!

INSTEAD OF PAYING ME BACK THE 3 BTC THEY OWED ME, THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND EVEN STEAL THE ALTS I HELD THERE!!!

Apologies to those who have seen me go on about this before, but my only revenge at this point is dissuading enough people from trading at c-cex in hopes they lose out on 3 BTC in the long run.
