Added the paper wallet git to the homepage!

C-Cex messaged me and is now on the correct chain!

I agree that would give us a chance to get on mintpal, BUT it still does cost $ and I think that's bogus especially when they can generate income from the fees they would place upon casinocoin; https://www.mintpal.com/fees

We should push to have all major exchanges accept csc, without having to entice them to add us. Send tweets, emails, post on boards and reddit, as well message them directly if they have an option to do so.

Unfortunately do not have access to the old twitter account @casinocoin or facebook /casinocoin - You can view the current social media outlets on the first post near the bottom and myself or someone here can handle the accounts!

Skype: Changed my skype to( casinocoin.matt ) so it's easier to keep all messages together away from personal things: Anyone can add me and ill be available to chat usually from 1pm-5pm EST and 11pm-5am EST

CasinoCoin.org is now switched to php instead of basic html, anyone that has scripts to be added(thanks spakler for the json)let me know and we can figure out a page/position for it, im thinking of changing the homepage to reflect more like worldcoins new layout(it's nothing unique, but attractive and aesthetically pleasing.

HTML5 Wallet, GoldSeal any reason did not like the coinpocket app, it's pretty simple BUT is open source and we could make changes/add onto it over time. I was thinking it could be a starting point?

Nah go with coinpocket. consumers like options, but int he end I think we need to make something aligned with the gambling par tof the coin and that means integrating a gambling promotion feed or other items

I 100% agree on Mintpal. It's a shame they have that awful paid vote system. I think we should concentrate on gettign an add to bittrex and possibly poloniex.

It's amazing I did not know this.. C-Cex has a merchant service that allows you to sell good, products, and services with CasinoCoin.
View there page here for more information: https://c-cex.com/?id=merch

Let's promote this stuff on casinocoin.org. For the graphic with the girl on the frontpage, would it be possible to replace this with some sort of rolling slide show? This way we could add slides for things like bitkee, c-cex, etc etc - highlighting servcies that support casinocoin. Maybe something like wowslider: http://wowslider.com/ or similar. There are a ton of these out there

when it comes to mining pools i think someone should create a profit switching pool which pays out in casinocoins, i would do it but my skills stop at basic coding languages, ive been watching a couple recently and they have been growing much quicker than your average pools, like this one for example ( http://www.cryptotrain.net ) for ultra coin

If we had one of these pools that would be a HUGE advantage for CasinoCoin and would help spread the coin around.
Anyone have the ability to do this, haven;t found any open source pools that have this feature yet.

Bittrex seems like a hot spot for active traders right now but mintpal is still a good exchange to get onto.

This thread is interesting, guarantees a mintpal top spot.

do you ave control of the casinocoin facebook and twitter pages or is that from the previous csc creator, if you do perhaps a little more activity, as a newbie i look to see how active the community is before mining

casinocoin might have it. I'm not too sure but I think he was trying to organize something for both.

Casinocoin,
Can you add a link to transcoder's print paper wallet app on github to the first post? This supports generating Bip38 encrypted private keys for Casinocoin. Very useful utility.

https://github.com/transcoder/printpaperwallet

Cheers. FYI - sent a message to Poloniex to see if they would consider adding Casinocoin. Wink

BTW, I posted chat messages to c-cex support about them being on the wrong chain. Hopefully they pick it up form there since they haven't been responding to skype or the support tickets. Once we straighten them out, this should remove any incentive for mining the old chain. I also sent them an email too.

Ok we now have:
seed1.casinocoin.org.   A   99.249.22.39
seed3.casinocoin.org.   A   38.126.94.60
seed.casinocoin.org.   A   50.116.32.4
seed2.casinocoin.org.   A   162.242.217.120

My system is not fit to build casinocoinqt for windows, ill check my MAC after to see if it's possible on there if not I can set up a VM and have it done unless someone else is able to have them built for linux, mac, and windows from here:https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/tree/master      not the digishield-dev branch as it contains future updates

Hmm. Let me look into compiling on windows. For security reasons, this should be something that we do. For now it's a good problem to have. It will force us to figure out a procedure for this.

I found some instructions here:
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/587/how-do-i-build-bitcoin-source-in-windows-7

I'll see what I can get going. I've always avoided windows in favor of linux lol.
Agreed, wouldn't let someone who is unknown to the community compile the wallets! Ill see what I can do tonight finally have a few hours to do some things.
Believe we also have to setup a new testnet as it was connected to the casinoco.in website?

Testnet shouldn't be so important. Those aren't meant to be always live I beleive.  BTW, I compiled the linux client. I'll skype you the executable:

root@casinocoin:/usr/src/casinocoin/src# casinocoind getinfo

If possible, let's get some release notes together outlining the steps for each build. That will make future releases easier.

Ok I pushed changes to the casinocoin master branch for the dns seeds. Casinocoin is going to populate the cooresponding A records for casinocoin.org:

The new seeds will be:

// DNS seeds
// Each pair gives a source name and a seed name.
// The first name is used as information source for addrman.
// The second name should resolve to a list of seed addresses.
static const char *strMainNetDNSSeed[][2] = {
        {"casinocoin.org seed", "seed.casinocoin.org"},
        {"casinocoin.org seed #1", "seed1.casinocoin.org"},
        {"casinocoin.org seed #2", "seed2.casinocoin.org"},
        {"casinocoin.org seed #3", "seed3.casinocoin.org"},
    {NULL, NULL}
};

static const char *strTestNetDNSSeed[][2] = {
    {"casinocoin.org testnet seed #1", "testnet-seed1.casinocoin.org"},
    {NULL, NULL}
};

Casinocoin,
Any chance we can have new clients built for the website? Might as well distribute the new version. Also, the version number is now 1.2.1.0 using the new source. No fork is needed. This change is just the DNS seeds that weren't resolving anyway, so it is compatible with existing 1.2.0.0 clients that are currently functioning based on the conf addnode entries.

Cheers!

Just checked if there are any peers still on the old version. Looks like alot!

Yeah we need to figure out a way to make those things die. Best I can figure is to get all the exchanges flipped over to 1.3.0. Then they are irrelevant because they won't have any place to sell coins anyway. c-cex is on the wrong chain I think. So maybe we should start there.

***update****
Ok I just sent a message to c-cex via their support system and via skype. Hopefully they pick it up. If you guys find someone on the wrong chain, please send them something along the lines of this. We need to start beating back these 1.1.x.x clients and take away that chains ability to be used.

Code:
C-cex is on the wrong chain for casinocoin. We need you to update your client. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=616792.0
Also, the casinocoin website has changed from casinoco.in to casinocoin.org. please update this
Also, if would like to be notified of new client releases, hard forks, or service issues affecting the Casinocoin network, then please sign up for the "Casinocoin Development News" mailing list here: http://eepurl.com/WGcoP
Casinocoin's new source is located here: https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin
Please do not use the old repository from transcoder. He is no longer with the project.

BTW, if anyone is interested - BitKee has agreed to make a design for Casinocoin. They're going to make a me a key fob and start offering casinocoin designs soon through their site. https://bitkee.com

Nice branded option for long term storage and convenience. Wink

BTW, if you order wallets I'd suggest to grab transcoder's printpaperwallet source and use bip38 for casinocoin private keys. That package supports bip38. Wink

That's not so impressive these days Smiley
