We are now stabilizing at somewhere around $43, ridiculously good call! Shocked

Also, it ain't a flash crash if I still got time to buy! Cheesy

Heh yes broken clock is right twice per day! And I would not dare buy at market prices in this crazy panic market. Orders FTW! Have buys at 22 and added more buys at 34 and 28.

Holy crap, only 250K BTC in bids to $2, some big bears are gonna eat all of them for lunch, in just 15 minutes we will reach the 2-years low! Shocked
That is 2.5% of all BTC ever mined, not sure it is that easy to get that much of volume, and do you think MtGox seller side even have that much BTC in hand? Most of coins are not on MtGox, moving to there need a lot time,

$47 to $45 is a crash? Cheesy
Apparently 4% is a now crash but at $12 it was a 0.25 movement.
Nothing to fuss about. Tensions are high today.

No, stop spreading FUD please.

We only spread *FACTS* and *UNBIASED INFORMATIONS* here in speculation!

And besides, it became really boring and quiet here with all the bears incinerated by bitcoin rocket fuel.

FUD? Do you guys all live in denial and can not accept facts? This chart here has clearly shown that the market is going to crash: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ultimate-bear-chart-147800 Remember, the price itself incorporates all information, including possible future hackings!

All Mt. Gox systems are performing horribly this morning.

Socket.io servers are buggy as usual (can't connect, or connect without data), and trading is extremely buggy.

Putting and cancelling orders took me up to several minutes.

ok damn that was a quick recovery. hoped my buy orders at $40 will get filled. but nobody panicked enough Sad don't you people need fiat money anymore? Smiley Ask "BTC Economist", we're definitely seeing single digits next week! (but maybe in groups of two or three).

Did anyone see the leap on bitstamp? I have just sold at $47.61 while gox was still under $46

It took a while for bitcoincharts to catch up as well

Seems like orders are hanging as pending for many many minutes... sitting here watching my buy order sit in pending while the last price jumps up and down from it...

OK, 15minutes later and we're executed.

Placed a few more for lower prices just "in case" Wink

heading to sleep.

My best guess is there's a hardware failure on one of the two servers running gox trades, not enough to actually bring it down or set off the alarms to wake someone up.

Just enough that the whole thing is lagging. If you can, buy now while there's so much uncertainty.
