What makes you think that, because interestingly i agree with that statement. That kond of investment is actually very promising to get more profits. Just imagine, when you raise the profits from bitcoin then thats your money apart from your investment which can be then invested into low vakue ether and wait for it to grow as well. This will create double benefit one from btc and second from ether itself. Not just ether but this can be done with any altcoin as long as it rises.

Bitcoin price is over $3200
Eth price is $250 and its ATH maybe around $350-$370? I don't really remember.
Some traders speculate about ethereum could reach $1000 but it's unlikely to happen in the near future.
Because bitcoin will take all of those attention from people due to segwit will be activated soon, at that time, the price could reach over $4000 within days, and maybe reach $5000 but not sure about the highest point before get corrected. When bitcoin price start to rise, ethereum will follow it I guess, just like what happens right now.
The last time ETH had a good rally because there were more projects coming in and so is the reason we saw a good rally and i really do not think that ETH will follow the price valuation of bitcoin all the time, there will be minor changes in the price of all the alt coins when bitcoin rises ,but that does not necessarily mean that it must rise when bitcoin rises. If there is some interesting news coming out regarding ETH then we could expect investors pumping their money in it,other than that i do not think we could see a rally now.

this has never be the case as bitcoin and Ethereum do moved horizontally. When ever bitcoin is increasing Ethereum also increase and most traders always take profit by converting they bitcoin to fiat. You should not even take that step as you will lose in trade.

Possible but who really knows on where profit takers will divest their profits? We'll see it when the price starts to increase. That will be the indicator that investors are now investing to ETH and they want another pump to that coin. But it's not just going to flow only with ETH but for the whole crypto currency market.

I think yes because lots of ICOs are around the corner and to invest in them people will buy ETH at whatever price it will be available. Price of Ethereum have also increased interms of fiat right now because of bitcoin surge but in terms of bitcoin ETH value have decreased. So ETH might start to get pumped when speculation and hype over segwit will be over.

The big whales will definitely pump bitcoin, then take out the money and pump in something. It's like a circle. Everytime pumping the coins higher turn by turn.

There's no way to know if this is the case. I think most people that trade moves their cash into fiat or USDT(tether), instead of ethereum when selling their bitcoins. Also, bigger investors tend to not leave their investments in one cryptocurrency, as they often diversify to like 5-10 or more cryptocurrencies, some of which are the hottest right now: Monero, NEO/antshares, IOTA, Stratis, etc.
