Maybe it's strange but I am not at all affected with this bitcoin price changes and I expected correction around month of March, but longer term for this I expect bullrun to continue.
I would not say now is the best time to buy bitcoin for everyone because we may see even lower prices before we go up again.

To me, it seems as though bitcoin will rise to 150k and then eventually drop back down to 40-50k. So, now would be a great time to buy while it's at probably one of the lowest points it'll be at in the next decade.

I don't expect to see 150k Bitcoin this year but in next five year it is very much possible, but if it happens earlier than even better.

The best time to sell is right after you make the proven mistake of buying.

My holdings have increased 6x since a few months back so reality says you are full of it   Kiss

Fake news

Reliable and good sources, can confirm that 6x remains unconfirmed, and that Fake news is in fact confirmed.

There are panic sellers who listen to the wrong people.
So long as you dont sell Bitcoin you dont lose, this is a very temporary and regular
price dip which offers everyone a chance to buy Bitcoin at a sale price.

Been in Bitcoin a long time and I agree mostly.

$100k will get hit.

My prognosis is ATH $190k in august.
Crash down to $35k in June 2022 or so

2022? Hrm. I was thinking we'd see it later this year (around November-December).

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun on it, but your price prediction of $190k at the the peak seems about right, right along with the low.

It seems we're seeing the same pattern over and over. Just keep adding a '0' each cycle though.

I'm talking about the ATL (lowest point after last ATH, deepest point in bear market). The crash will start after August I think.

So far not a big correction since bitcoin gains in price were much higher recently. This dump can continue or not, no one can predict it. For this reason I think if you really want to increase your bitcoin holdings it's an opportunity, because if you wait for too long expecting for a cheaper price, this opportunity might disappear and bitcoin could start rising again.

Different from past times there are many people interested in bitcoin right now, including wealthy people that won't let the price drop too much before farming the left cheap coins in the market. To wait for a price similar to 2019-2020 can be a dangerous bet for potential investors.

You're never too old to think young.
Any time is a good time to buy Bitcoin.

Any dip is the best time.

Same story every year in March when Bitcoin has mostly declined (with different causes each year). So it's highly possible to see a correction in the following weeks. Considering this I would agree with the OP. I would say it's the best period of the year for anyone looking to accumulate more bitcoins. But hoping it doesn't go the same way it was going in 2018 otherwise people will lose money.
I strongly believe to see the trend continuing we need to keep receiving news such as Tesla, Microstrategy, etc buying bitcoins. Otherwise th hype will fade soon or later

However over the last two weeks, this wallet class appears to be 'reducing holdings'. Is this new sell pressure? Are institutions getting spooked or taking profits? A few interesting occurrences on-chain are presented in the points, table and charts below to help answer this question.

This dip is the shaking of the weak hands. The trend is not yet over, remember how much we've started. And if someone can't decide whether he should buy or not.

It's an easy decision for those investors that are looking for a year or more of stay to bitcoin, they should've buy as it dips. But if planning with a shorter term, they'll still wait for a little more of the dip.

You can say that now is the best time to buy bitcoin, but I hope you can analyze why you should buy it now because the price can get down for more. If you can find something from your analysis and make sure that the price will bounce to a high price, you can buy it now. But if you think that the price will go down, you can wait for a while and set your target price to buy at a lower price, so when the price is down, your order buys price will automatically be filled. This time, the market was unpredictable because bitcoin is down, and we don't know when the price will be back to the high price. So you need to be careful to decide.

There is trouble abrewing
I think this is a tiny dip before the huge rally.

if we look at the bitcoin history we can see that the huge rally is already taking place and this drop is an indication of it. after this dip is finished (which could take about a week) then there will be a similar big rise as the previous $10k step then it will be followed by another dip exactly like this one before the next $10k step is taken. that is from $30k to $40k then fall down. from $40k to $50k then fall down. from $50k to $60k then fall down. and so on.

i don't think this trend is going to change until price enters $100k and then it will speed up a little but we will see similar pattern with healthy corrections.

in about 9 months from now we will see $400k to $600k which i predict would be the end of this cycle.

Depends on your time frame, your capacity to hold probable scenarios vs risk appetite.   Some people just buy and sell right after if it doesnt immediately go up, that might be a great strat if they can play it right.

I do see a reason to buy above 48.5k on the premise that this is an area being bought and that wider context and possible bullish moves bigger then just one day.   On shorter time frame I'm viewing possible top to action and we have to see price action retracts or exceeds this as a ceiling.

You have to be careful, because it is a great time to buy but there may be another small drop, although buying at this time is not bad, because we are not buying at highs, it is very likely that the price will continue to rise. , I could not say that it will increase to the figure that OP says, but many speak of a magic figure and it is $ 100k, it is very possible and there is great opportunity, although the volume for now of numbers showing sales, this correction is natural and in necessary occasions in the market, all we hope is another bullish impulse, we just have to wait.

The best time to buy is at a price that will never be seen again. I highly doubt that even if this rally continues, we won't return to this level in the bear market that will come after it. Now is a good time to buy because Bitcoin will bounce back, but there will be even better opportunities.

Figured I might as well stake my speculative trading claims here so I can link back to this thread when it happens:

I think this is a tiny dip before the huge rally.

With people's stimulus checks coming in early next month and tax returns hitting people's banks here shortly, they're going to go on an investment craze buying all non-fiat stuff possible (because consumerism).

Personally, I think a lot of people had to cash out their 'investments' (GME, Doge, whatever hype they bought into) to pay the monthly bills causing the market drop we're seeing today. A lot of these 'investors' are panic buying/panic selling to get rich fast. In the end, these people tend to buy high, sell low, losing money as a whole.

To me, it seems as though bitcoin will rise to 150k and then eventually drop back down to 40-50k. So, now would be a great time to buy while it's at probably one of the lowest points it'll be at in the next decade.

Overall, my recommendation is buy and hodl until at least 100k if you're looking to make a 100% ROI over the next year or two. If you want until $140-150k to sell, you'll have a 300% ROI, but requires checking prices more consistently to ensure you manage to sell before the fall of value (at least once a week, maybe twice or three times a week once the price is around 120k).
