I believe that such scams were being conducted out of the box when the governments were not taking any serious interest in crypto. It'd be very easy for scammers to scam when they know that they are not going to be watched/caught, unless some authorities show up and take a stand. But, I think that crypto is an interesting subject that everyone, including governments should learn more about. They're just seeing the dark side of crypto because they want to, if they're not scared about the taxation part and have the guts to regulate it, I think we're strong enough to fight such scams and earn through this as well.
Exactly and stated correctly.
Monitoring crypto is the best policy to fight against money laundering and terror funding.
For example what happened after notebandi
Even RBI stated that 98.6 % currency banned came back again in the system.
Peer to peer exchange is something new and has different working principle,
So banning completely will rise more serious problem including corruption.Scams were operated when people became greedy , always invest what you afford to loose or else stay away from crypto world.

Today Supreme Court Of India will give its final judgement on cryptocurrency trading and transaction ban.Yes this market is interesting and everyone who have knowledge about it wants to invest. Banning is not a solution because even after ban still trading is going on.Only strict regulations is the solution.I hope we hear a positive outcome from apex court.

Well, 11th September 2018 is the date we Indians are waiting for, it's the Final Hearing Date for Crypto Case.
Let's hear it from the Supreme Court..
Then we can decide, whether it's the End or the beginning of a new Era..  Tongue

Yes thats true as well. Yesterday I read a news about RBI's future plans about cryptocurrency trading and its uses.I think they are also not able to avoid it.They are planing to make a separate unit which understand, measure and guide RBI about future consequences.I hope they make a way with regulations where Indian investors take part in this new market.

Yeah, if there was an Online Petition that i could submit in support of Cryptocurrency in India, i would be the first one to do it.. Tongue

Hi Friends,
This is a news link from Times of India.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/bitcoin-fraud-how-investors-lost-rs-22000-crore/articleshow/65393687.cms
Article is about a fraud alone in Gujarat and investors lost INR 22000 Crores in Bitcoin scam. Are these kind of scams responsible for Bitcoin's fall along with cryptocurrency market??? I think These kind of scams are responsible and force RBI to shut ways of cryptocurrency trading in India. What do you think??? Please share your views.

Come on lots of scam happening with Indian money and lots of Public sector banks involved in it ,so why not Rbi shutdown all bank first.Scaming is everywhere Crypto or Money the problem is same, they need to bring clear regulation about crypto trading banning it not gonna do any good.

Yes you are right but I am discussing here about one of the reason behind RBI's decision to ban crypto related transactions. This kind of ban really halt the progress of this market.Scammers also helped RBI by indirect way.In latest updates about above mentioned scam, BitConnect cheated investors from all over India for more than 88000 Crores.BitConnect India head arrested few days back.

Yes true, This is one of the reason. But Digital currency ban is not a good idea. Government should make regulations to control this. After ban again Indian market will be behind the global market.
