If you are that pirate, then you are used to big numbers even in BTC.

Its not a reason, just use a prefix. The price is: 1 M (mega) XBT, or  234 kXBT instead of 234 000

True, but caution is always required with Bitcoin. That is just the way it is.

I'm going with mBTC for now though.
