a few years ago i read about onecoin / onelife, i think their age won't be long, their motto as "bitcoin killer" seems to affect many people, especially from mlm / hyip fans. The steps taken by the EU are very appropriate, given that the owner is reportedly targeting Sofia as the next kingdom. I am not interested at all, just feel they must be stopped.

Is onecoin still active or is this a different project with similar name? Governments of various countries have been fighting the coin since I became engaged in Cryptocurrency. I guess they have been switching from site to site to avoid total shut down.
It's still active and if you are doing little efforts to browse the news about that on the internet and you will have found a lot of the news about that. This news was published a few weeks ago. The regulators are searching for the onecoin operator and that's why onecoin always try to use hit and run trick and just like that when you are seeing a ponzi scheme that always jumps from one domain to another domain to avoid the ban and search for the new victim.

It was one of the smartest scam in crypto.
To be honest, i never trusted that OnCoin, my hunch proved to be right after months of this cam going on, the best part is that even some big financial institutions & investors dell in that.

Too bad how crypto represents the perfect place to gather the easy money pretending to b a Fintech.

This European BAN is the best decision to make against that scam.

Onecoin, the digital currency which has a different private Blockchain of its own currency, is correct presently confronting numerous issues. Because of its hierarchical structure, it is named as a Ponzi scheme, which thusly implies that the past financial specialists who contributed first are given the benefits and the plan has stood out as truly newsworthy throughout the years.

The primary site presently appears to have been brought down, and neither the explanation or it’s rebound time have been affirmed. Its explanation is as yet a riddle to be illuminated.

I never followed this story because i disregarded it as a scam. I really thought it would be over right away and it amazes me how far it did go and still some people don't seem to believe that it's over. Luckily crypto enthusiasts have explained over and over how this was just a ponzi and not crypto related because if this had been a real crypto, it would have been really bad pr.
