Yes you do .I updated a couple of days ago and all works perfectly

If you do not update, you will be cut of, not able to send or stake coins. You will be able to receive, but you will not see them in transactions.

BTW! I was trying to backup my private key ( again ) but it gave me an error because it is on ' staking only ' I forgot how to change this. Appreciate the help guys

You MUST use the new nodes, its a mandatory update.

There's no point in waiting and the new nodes are a must. As long as you have a backup of your wallet.dat and private key nothing can go wrong. Just download the wallet -> extract it somewhere on your PC -> go to your AppData folder -> open the DeepOnion folder there -> change the old nodes with the new ones in the .config file -> save -> open your new wallet from the folder where you extracted it -> ENJOY Cool

updating the nodes is 10 seconds extra. Copy nodes, find .conf file, paste nodes, save and you're ready to go.
