its good youre using a online wallet, but eventually when backing up a balance i heard from people its more of a hassle.

Isn't there any script or something of that sort that can check the balance of an address and push the transaction after confirming the private key? No other features necessary?
You can use Brainwallet [1]. It does the action you want but it isn't really an online wallet, it's a java script.

I have electrum but as I stated above, I sometimes am away from my computer and need to send bitcoin and thats where I use blockchain wallet. I will look into your suggestions of green address and dark wallet. Thx
Remember Dark Wallet is chrome extension but if you know the phrase, you can install chrome extension and just enter the phrase to ope your wallet. If anything goes wrong or you couldn't understand, post here, me or anybody other will help you.

If you can use computer-wallets, I highly recommend you to use Multibit or Electrum. If you want an online wallet, you can use Green Address or DarkWallet(Beta).

Not looking to migrate or anything, but just looking for other available options, sometimes I don't have access to my personal computer and an on-line wallet which has the ability to import a key and send bitcoin comes in real handy.

I think there are no online wallets currently. If you want to migrate from Blockchain because of their maintenance, please be patient, it will be fixed soon!
