Yeah, the new UI on BC.info is a nightmare, not to mention the lack of coin control on their new HD wallets. I haven't yet made the switch to a hardware device, but I still think it is the way to go.

Transaction speed has nothing to do with the type of wallet you are using. The only thing you yourself can influence is the size of the fee you include.
Don't promote the use of online wallets over hardware wallets, it will cause people to lose their coins.. Hardware wallets actually make the spending of safely stored coins easier again.

Can't stress this enough. Promoting online wallets over any other kind of wallet is madness. I used to be BC.info user but switching to other kind of a wallet (currently Trezor) was a decision I won't regret. Especially with the new version of BC.info which is even worse than the old version.

I'm afraid I don't. As far as I know that information has not been published anywhere.

also those nodes you see on blockchain.info does not belong to the site, they are bitcoin nodes that they connect to. and you can check them yourself if you want, i don't see any of them lagging behind. and if one of them is offline they disconnect, you can't stay on the network and be offline.
I was not referring to the nodes on this page if that's what you mean. Those are the nodes that Blockchain.info connects to, not nodes that they operate themselves.
The point is that both Blockchain.info's block explorer and its wallet service regularly lag behind the rest of the network.

Blockchain.info has to run their own full node(s) as well (which is connected to the nodes listed). Their node(s) seems to have issues every so often. December 17, 2016, 12:18:11 AM

The wallet OP is praising actually exemplifies this very well: It seems like Blockchain.info's Bitcoin node is either lagging behind the network or completely offline for some period of time every other week, leaving people waiting on their money.
what OP is saying is because he lacks knowledge of how bitcoin works, he talks in a way that a wallet sets the confirmation time whereas it is the amount of fee he includes in the transaction. and then the conclusion he makes is the worst because he is simply saying a web wallet is safer than a hardware wallet and forgets all the wallets in between.

I would agree with you if the title was "Web Blockchain Wallet Is OK for small amounts" because has some convenient features like a handy menu, an android app except your web wallet and it has a good reputation among new users. I also agree that full node Bitcoin core and armory are not easy for everyday usage and are for more experienced bitcoiners but there other solutions where there is a fair trade off between security and ease of use, like as Multibit and Electrum. Moreover, if you have many coins price would not be not an issue for you and a hardware wallet would be must.

For Bitcoin user only Web Blockchain wallet is very good for sending/receiving BTC. Transaction times can be up to one hour, who will wait with other hardware wallets one hour untill transactions end ? So now Web Blockchain wallet have around 10 millions users from 120 countries. I am struggling to understand how you draw the conclusion of your thread title. Mentioned already, the deciding factor is the fee paid. I overpay just a bit when I need a fast transaction for an impatient "client". Most are happy with multiple confirmations within an hour or so, and the normal fee structure does than on my end anyway. I guess where I am struggling is understanding why someone would willing surrender control of their BTC to a web wallet. Surrender might be a strong word, but it has actually proven to work out that way when the web wallets sites disappear. I may be missing something here. What about a web wallet would make you think that (quoting you) Computer Hardware Wallets Is History?

There is no difference between the confirmations times of transactions made by web wallets and desktop wallets. There is no distinction in those transactions that would cause one to confirm faster. What does matter is the transaction fee and that can be set by any wallet, regardless of desktop or web.
Using a web wallet is highly NOT recommended. Most do not give you access to the private keys, so you don't actually control your Bitcoin. Furthermore, your Bitcoin is at the whim of the web wallet. If the web wallet shuts down, your Bitcoin will no longer be accesible (usually). If you don't take the proper precautions to backup your private keys if you have access to them, you will lose all your Bitcoin.
