I just read the answer in the reputation thread and I think the reason to froze that account and not pay him based on the evidence provided is correct.I play myself daily at Sportsbet.io slot machines which is owned by the same group and they have paid instantly amount of 1000 Eur.Of course my amount is really small compared with the amount discussed here but you get the point.

This goes to show that casino's has no really intention of paying users and violates the compromise to pay in full if player manage to win huge amount to a legitimate gambling session. I think they've underestimated gamblers in the ability to strategize, they've probably thought they can milk those compulsive gamblers with difficult odds of winning.

In these the player probably thought that settling is the best option than to not get paid. I guess this is one of the disadvantage of unregulated casino and gambler operators.

171btc is huge money though.

They had 2 choices:

1- Go bankrupt and pay the winner in full
2- Make a deal

If the 2 parties are happy with the outcome, I can't really blame the casino for this.

Read post above or 2 above... He was a known Scammer.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately the main thread got closed before we got our long reply together, but we've left a reply on the Reputation area thread.

Please have a look as there was never a settlement.

Cheers,
Karl

edit: I see there is no settlement at all. Reading the big ass post now. It became interesting suddenly. (a lot more than it already was)

I made a topic in reputation https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5260832.new#new and was given a link to this thread. Feel free to have a read. Hopefully we can get some answers.
Yeah, I hope too. I already seen your topic in the reputation section and I think it's okay to have both in both place. There are a lot of people in gambling section who never subscribed to reputation board so for them this will serve an exposure.

Thanks for opening an open discussion Royse777.

I was following the thread and there was a lot of question marks left by OP.
First he was very excited and scared he wouldn't get the prize, then he went silent and deleted all of the posts...

He lost alot of the money and deleted all of the posts, good to have them archived.

Interesting to see what and if anyone from Bitcasino opens up and clears out out some of the questions.
I will hate to hear LAngel was forced to settle for 48 BTC instead of his original winning. Please emphasis on the word FORCE.

Shocked Still shaking and I haven't been able to sleep all night, but have just uploaded a video to YouTube while awaiting my first withdrawal to be processed.

I wasn't recording until I was playing half way through the free spins and realised this is going to be a huge win, so i left the game so that I could restart it and record the video with bandicam, so here it is!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbmiCYjA-hQ

Many re-triggers and round 16 is the BIG one with full screen of top paying symbol.

This is 100% real, i even went to live chat at the end of the video to prove that by asking live chat guy as since i can hardly believe it myself, you guys may find it even harder!
Actually you can see yourself go to bitcasino.io and check their "live RTP" bit, and the olympus slot I played has now 7000% RTP due to my mega win.

Main topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/urgent-just-won-171-btc-5700x-bet-on-bitcasinoio-and-now-im-locked-out-5260506

The topic is locked so none can respond there but this does not answer the unanswered questions for all of us at least not for me.

I was very surprised to see the settlement and was writing the following until I realized the topic was locked:
Code:
[quote author=LAngel link=topic=5260506.msg54753858#msg54753858 date=1594208049]
i removed the video and must not comment more on this thread
i have agreed a settlment with bitcasino.io they have agreed to pay 48 bitcoins (4 per week for 12 weeks)

Such a happy feeling for both party. I am glad that it worked out for both you and bitcasino however I would like to know the reason behind the settlement.

1. Bitcasino was unable to pay 171+ BTC?
2. You took advantage of some unfair bugs?

I would like to know which side compromised and why? I think it's a valid reason to ask since it is in public now since anyone can win big and maybe they will not like any settlement like you agreed. Giving up 171 - 48 BTC is a lot of money.

A casino never forgive a user if they lose big amount, do they?

Anyway, I would like a response from Bitcasino here. I like bitcasino and sportsbet. In the past I have recommended them without any hesitation but it seems from now on I will feel hesitation to recommend them until I have a satisfactory answer. If I want to defend them in a case then other party will easily stop me saying that bitcasino do not pay their users winning and I will have no response for them then.

Here is my point:
I have seen many people to lose their hard-earned money to casinos, none got any sympathy even few days ago I saw a guy was saying he lost his life savings (people can be stupid). If people can lose their lifesaving and give up everything to a casino without any sympathy then why wouldn't a casino give full money of a winning instead of a settlement?

PS: I am happy for both LAngel and Bitcasino but that does not answer my question until I have one.
