I am bringing this topic to life, instead of creating new one from scratch.
There is one Open-Source Crypto ATM project or short OSCA, with instructions for making your own Bitcoin ATM at home if you have basic electro-mechanical skill.
You don't have to disclose any personal information to use this ATM, you just inserts cash and the machine returns a printed paper wallet with Bitcoin, than you scan the QR code to sweep the wallet.

OSCA Project is still in beta phase, and this ATM machines are not trustless that means that you will have to trust that owner wont scam you.
This is how OSCA Bitcoin ATM looks like when it is completed, and yes OSCA is accepting only Bitcoin, not any altcoins:

OSCA Project is made by Anthony Budd who is Node.js and PHP developer.
Early instructions are posted on project github page, it is using Arduino, and detailed version will be released in future.

Would love to hear feedback on this project.
I like its fluidity but you might want to add two more things when clicking on each:

  • Direction feature from our location to each of the BTM's...
    - I prefer using a single app/website while finding my way to a certain place.
  • Stating their fees with operation types [buy/sell].

Nice work collecting all Bitcoin ATM loctions and using open source code, but I don't think you need to create so many similar topics in forum.
Better create one main topic for and keep all conversation and ideas there.
Just my suggestion.

Good to see open-source website, especially using OpenStreetMap rather than Google Maps.  But i have some thoughts,
1. If someone want to add/update ATM data, must we make merge request?
2. It might be great to mention when the data for each ATM is added/updated

The idea is good, but how will the site data be updated and B ATMs evaluated? Will it be central as users send data to you as you add it to the site? Or will each user draw his own map based on the data of others?

The GitHub page answer your question. The data is centralized on GitHub repository and to add/update the data, apparently you need to make merge request to the repository.

In any case, updating the data with the correct information determines whether your map is good. Many of ATM's services require identity verification, in addition to the high fees and being slow.

Looks good for gathering up all information regarding a Bitcoin ATM's place but what would make it unique compared to other Bitcoin ATM location website is the inclusion of images of the Bitcoin ATM itself and the surrounding location. Just think about it as a Google Maps feature where if they click a certain atm/location they will see some supporting images that this Bitcoin ATM is in this building near this street. I find it more useful for tourist who won't spend some trouble opening up several other maps confirming the address of that Bitcoin atm because they will be the ones having some trouble navigating their way to new countries. And aside from that I think one of the vital information missing is if that Bitcoin atm has a KYC requirement or not, just imagine a person travelling on a long distance only to find out that he/she can't access that atm without a KYC or some type of account with KYC verification first. Overall your Bitcoin ATM map is good it just lacks some needed info as well as some additional features to make it more unique compared to others.

I started a free-to-use and open-source project aimed at consolidating BTMs on a world map. There are a lot of services that do this already but none are open-source and all require BTM owners or operators to pay monthly retainers to be listed on their sites. I wanted to change this model.

Operators and owners can add their ATMs to the open-source repository for free to be seen by the world live on this page.
