OP aka Yobit Support (uID2586039) was banned today. Does anybody know the reason behind this?

They only had a handful of posts here, wondering which rule exactly did they break? Possibly an alt of someone/ban evasion?...just curious is all.

WRONG!
When I was on Yobit campaign, I know that I was making quality posts at that time because I was aware for a fact that forum moderators and DTs are looking at the yobit campaign spammy since 20 posts per day are too much. But, I think most of the people in this forum are generalizing all yobit campaign participants, that's why even some people that are making a quality post are banned that time.
So, did you mean that theymos is a liar, because admin stepped in and coded something to stop that signature campaign wave of Yobit, simultanenously with bans (different types) on Yobit supporters that have different bad reports on them and their posts.
129 users who were wearing a yobit signature and had at least 1 good report against them in the last 14 days are banned for 14 days. All yobit signatures are wiped. Signatures containing "yobit.net" are banned for 60 days.

Some people were talking about neg-trusting spammers for spamming. This is not appropriate; report the posts, and if that doesn't seem to be working well, come to Meta with specific examples and suggestions.

You were only banned if you have a good report against you in the (IIRC) last 7 days. And if you were one of the false-positives, you could have created an temporary alt to dispute it and you would easily get unbanned (I recall this happened with a few users). Only spammers stayed banned.

No. You don't get ban if you wear signature of Yobit.
Wearing signature of Yobit won't lead you to account ban.
Wearing signature of Yobit, and make good posts won't lead you to account ban.
Wearing signature of Yobit, make garbage/spam posts, and get significant reports that accepted by forum moderators, your account might be banned.

Also since they are bidding on forum ad slots and they weren't disqualified, I don't think the admin has an issue with Yobit anymore.
But they failed with their bids for last two rounds of forum advertise. They stopped running their signature campaign for a long time, so I don't see reason with spam comes from their campaign. It will be interesting if Yobit gets won slot in coming forum advertise, then we will have better overview on their situation here, and with their campaign. The thread created by cabalism and the unofficial telegram group look good enough for the beginning to discover what's going on with Yobit (their customer supports, their campaigns, and more). Just join and see what will happen in that group, and in forum.

This ain't going any where if we continue to discuss these issues all over again. I have just found a way for the users who has a problem with their accounts, I just hope you can participate on it calmly. I'm the creator of the group so I will be the one who'll decide whether if one should be banned from the discussion.
Take Note: Please Cool Off your head before getting into the discussion. Also I'm not part of YOBIT or even a Supporter of them.
So just to be clear, they are currently solving their past problems (signature campaign related ones) with you providing some help for them? This is all nice and good but I think it is better for them to solve their issues first before opening a campaign again. As we can already notice, no one will apply because of their past reputation.

Don't get the wrong idea here. I appreciate what you do for the community and I just provided some unsolicited feedback that I see fit.  Wink

I joined the group I used to be part of the campaign but that was back 2016 when everything is ok and Yobit is doing great, if you really have direct contact with Yobit support, you are doing a great job, congratulations I don't know how you do it, it's hard to communicate with them, they usually give you vague answer, I hope you succeed in fixing everything.

I saw the ban ads of Yobit on coinmarketcap.com days ago, but still not know that they actually run their signature in forum or not.
If they can pick some good posters that can join in their campaign then it will be a different situation for them but its not.
If Yobit actually run their campaign, and pay for their supporters, at high rates as we saw, it does not matter for them to hire a highly trusted, and reputable manager. I still don't know why they don't hire a good manager for their campaign, or their campaign is totally a scam one, no payments sent to any supporter so far.
They have also bought ad spot from Coinamrketcap at the top of website:
~snip~
There is no public price list of CMC ad spots, you have to contact them through Google Forms:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6ODdnuzoPUe1PxDwGxq0HK9GSEkyzIQQgrVa1k_dxqDdlqQ/viewform
But this thing doesn't prove that OP is official Yobit account. As Quicseller said there are so many fake Yobit accounts on various platforms.
As I remember in past Yobit also advertised on Coinmarketcap (on Bitcointalk ad slots too), so it doesn't prove that they ''expanded their marketing budget''
I think this information will make you all shocked.
Yobit actually joined the Advertise on this forum - Rounds 284 & 285

I have no idea why Yobit sets their maximum so high. All a 20 post maximum per day does is encourage people to post crap.
I think 10 posts per day is acceptable. There are users whom make more than 10 good posts per day, but for campaigns, a limitation with 10 posts will be counted per day is good to avoid spam, and abusements.
Quote
As for people that actually join this campaign, I will not personally give them red trust. However, if they start spamming the forum, I will use the report to moderator button.
Spam does not relate with trust. You will use trust system inappropriately if you tag spammers with red trust. Report button is good choice.

If they want their reputation back, they need first to delist or update all altcoin wallet on his platform. They need to stop creating trash like Limbo, Lambo, Yo, Yozi, Liza, Lizun, Yobix ...

Crap coins that they create or find are really not the problem.
Just about every exchange has a bunch of crap coins (or coins people think are crap)
Coins with broken wallets are the problem.
The lack of response is the problem.

But, to give them a bit of a fair shake, compared to other bigger exchanges when it comes to withdrawal issues when it comes to the "bigger" coins (BTC / LTC / ETH) and the like they are no worse then most and even better then some. Although they have and do have issues with those coins now and then, they tend to get resolved.

And also, unlike other exchanges they have yet to spring KYC on you AFTER your deposit.

Just my view.

He uses this crap coins to scam people through Investbox, promises a high return rate, dump them to zero then denominate it, and again every two-three weeks circle going from the beginning. it is an organized scam.

If they want their reputation to be back, they must do something good Cheesy

They create a lot of scam coins, exist only in his exchange. Created only to take money from people, nothing more. Can we expect something better from there, and that it will not tolerate spammers in his campaign?

Its nothing but encouraging forum members to be a spammer. Actually its came from their cheap promotional mind which already proven couple of weeks earlier. Still they haven't got the basic knowledge of effective advertising.

One quality poster's signature reflects thousand time better than bunch of spammers.

How much does it cost to run an ad on coinmarketcap?
By visiting CMC, saw that ads as well and checked but it came from google ads. Now I wonder how on earth google review yobit as a legitimate site that they are included on their so-called strict rules towards crypto ads Roll Eyes
I'm pretty sure it's around a minimum fee of $10,000 for how many impressions. I've seen some previous documents from CMC back in the day, and I remember those prices.

Anyway, with how long it's been alive for, I'd guess Yobit has spent at least 30,000 USD on the top banner alone, which doesn't count their other marketing fees.

It's great to see community members shut down the campaign instantly, I haven't seen a single poster with a yobit signature for the past 3 days, and I didn't know there was a new signature campaign until today.

I saw ads on coinmarketcap also, are you participants getting paid on time without delay??  I know Yobit has a sort of sketchy history on this forum since they caused a bunch of spam and got banned for 2 months the last time.  I still use yobit myself and never had any problems with their exchange.
Joined this signature campaign before the 2 month ban. And yes, I'm glad to say that they are paying their participants without any delay during that time. But the worst thing in here is getting ban in this forum for 2 weeks for promoting a scammy exchange. Better to stay away this time.
Yeah, don't bother. Nothing good will come out of advertising a shitty exchange.

My thought is that OP is probably trying to stir up some drama in the forum by creating a fake ANN of an already controversial exchange. i think after the yobit signature ban in the forum. They gave up on their spamming mission here so what we are seeing now is some random chap creating fake accounts and then making fake campaigns that are meant to put the forum on chaos.

Hey I saw yobit ad on CMC, any chance you will open up this campaign to lower ranked members also? I think you will get more customers by paying some of us because I know cmc ads cost a lot.

The marketing department of Yobit does not know how to efficiently manage their marketing. At one side they are paying good amount to display their ads on coinmarketcap but at the same time they are not willing to hire a decent manager for their signature campaign here.

I saw one Legendary applying for another  signature campaign here, wearing Yobit signature, if the transfer to balance is working then there's no reason why he will apply to a bounty that offers a lower rate, maybe because he wants to get out of the ban list, but until now since the last campaign announcement, any of the participants announced that Yobit is paying.

I was able to get paid last week but I think they are slow to refill their balance sometimes.  If you lack patience this probably a campaign you want to steer clear from.  Plus the pay is still low but I guess one of the good things is that there is no minimum requirement if you are busy in real life and can't post.

This is a confirmation that Yobit does pay but it will take long before they do pay their bounty hunters, this is the second time they posted their signature announcement and many did not get their payment because the so-called button is not working at all, maybe they are not that patient to wait for the button to go green.

How about to hire quality support on your platform, then you can start responding a people who have a problem with your exchange.

That would be better, instance hiring someone to promote your platform went you still don't have a quality support service on your exchange.

But as long as you don't provide what the public are suggesting then don't consider running this smoothly, especially to some campaigns that is manage by just a mere Newbie and not even bought a Copper Membership. There are a lot of fake YoBit support accounts on various platforms. It is not out of the question that the OP is one of them.

The fake support accounts have previously tricked people into sending money to the person behind the fake support account.
... but a DT member has left a trust feed back attesting it's a legit alt account...
So it's a little bit confusing  Undecided

"Alt account of yobit exchange" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2586039

This account might or might not have be authorized by yobit exchange but until they (yobit exchange) bring out an official statement that they're or aren't connected to the account, we have to treat the account as not an alt for precaution measure but if it's an alt, members of the forum still have to be cautious when trading with the exchange that's why my feedback connects both accounts reviewing the previous feedbacks of the main account.

Feedback has been adjusted to best suit the situation.

It is very simple if you are serious on your side then hire a manager who will manage the campaign since you can put a budget on your marketing. You should make differences from your past.

They have been scammers in the past and will always be scammers. It doesn't matter if you were paid in the last campaign or not. The fact is that they keep scamming their customers now and then. Why would you want to promote a scam exchange here? To get them more innocent victims over just a few pennies they pay you?

Obviously when you wear their signature, you will get the attention from DT members and you might also be included blacklists of prominent campaign managers around the forum like Hhampuz, yahoo62278, DarkStar_ to mention but a few. You don't wanna end up their blacklists because that means you won't have any chance of joining their high quality campaigns ever again.

So, illuminate us about the situation whether we shall support this campaign or not.

Why you want to support a signature campaign of exchange that has scammy past? My personal opinion will be always no, even they increase payrate by 10x or much more than that.

Simply because of the reason that yoshit has converted this forum to a spamground for penny suckers who would spam their signature for a few bucks every week and reduce the level of quality posts to near zero. Although they dont give negative trust for spamming I wont disagree with @suchmoon on their decision to put a neutral trust on your account.

I would suggest you to stay away from yoshit and its associates. We have new campaigns coming up every other week and I am sure you will find one of your liking if you have some patience.

In the meantime improve your post quality you might even earn some merits while doing so. Then ask suchmoon to review their rating (after sometime, not immediately). Good luck!
The case is that my posts are somehow long and on topic, i think it is a case of quantity and not "quality" , because my posts are long enough to never get that type of tag on my account. I will try to get in touch with him later on for sure. In the mean time, i'll keep watching this thread.
About the signature campaigns and the bounty stuffs, i think that it became "centralized" here in btt .. merits are not equally gifted and it's in my own opinion useless as a trust system here.. I will try to stay away of this but if peoples are wearing the signature and the atmosphere is good .. i might join tbh.

I was able to get paid in the last campaign that they run here on btt but one of the DT members left me a neutral trust. There you are wearing the signature, there's also other guys wearing it. Is it safe to join the bounty or what? what did the DT members say?

Good luck!

They comeback with the same rules in their campaign even though there were lots of arguements with the rules before yet they dont make changes. Maybe we should avoid this campaign for now and if they can fix their issue that is the time that we can trust their system again.

I hope this my reply should be the last one and don't help them bumping their thread.

Those who participated in this campaign has been listed on yahoo's blacklist or banned from his campaign and it is supported with Lauda and other DT1 members.

I advice for everyone not to join this campaign. It's not just because of reputation of this exchange, but mainly because this campaign is fake. It's most likely that OP account isn't controlled by Yobit support, so probably you'll end by wasting your time and advertising Yobit for free. I think that if Yobit would really relaunch their campaign, they would announce it on their Twitter like they did last time.

I cannot say with certainty that this account is not controlled by someone who is associated with YoBit, but first from total 3 posts is from April 21, 2019 and it seems that this is account which represents YoBit.

I think that their main problem is how they set campaign, time for signature campaigns which are operated by bots is ended a few years ago. There is also problem with payments which has been practically in existence ever since this campaign starts first time in this forum, users can see their balance, but the famous blue button is not working because wallet is empty.

I see few accounts (Hero&Legendary) with YoBit signature after this thread is posted, but maybe this time YoBit will try to control them better then last time, so we will not see some new admin intervention.

They are just deceiving participants, nobody gets paid here you cannot transfer your earnings to your main balance I have a friend who is one of the participants and they still cannot transfer their balance until now, and those who used to be a part of the campaign cannot participate anymore.

No body could ignore the fact that yobit is offering a good campaign, for us as bounty hunters, 24 usd in a daily basis is something worth it.
But, i already got a neutral trust from members that i've respected here in the forum because of Yobit campaign, if i join the Yobit signature again, this will be a suicide.
I researched about yobit and foundout that they turned to serve some normal clients and they lowered scam attemps, some friends told me that they are transacting and trading there normally and there's some twitter comments saying that they are scammers, i did use them and everything went well for me for multiple times trading btc to altcoins and vice versa. I don't want to be the guy "selling the forum for few pennies" anymore, i'll wait for the mods to say something.
Nobody can refuse the fact that this is a serious offer for us, bounty hunters, at this hard time, right?
So, illuminate us about the situation whether we shall support this campaign or not.
Thanks.

Dude..... Why you continue this kind of campaign? You won't do any good for your business if you disrespect the community.
Well, perhaps you already at the point of no return.

Anyway, for those who want to participate, you should know that Yobit doesn't have a good reputation in Bitcointalk.

A couple of things to those who are planning to join this campaign.

1. There is 99% probability that you are gonna get scammed and not receive a single centavo for your effort.

2. Let's say a miracle happens and Yobit will pay you. My question, will your conscience allow you to promote and get paid by an exchange whose reputation could't get dirtier anymore? No other exchange platform is shadier than Yobit.

Think about it guys!

It's funny how Yobit have their support handle in this forum but in their platform, no customer support is ever really present.
That proves Yobit to be one of the best shady exchange sites and they ought to get over the act of posting their signature campaign while they arent fix the problem they had with their previous customers.

I advice for everyone not to join this campaign.
Only members who are not familiar with what's going on in this forum or after the fund will join this kind of campaign.

Hey I saw yobit ad on CMC, any chance you will open up this campaign to lower ranked members also? I think you will get more customers by paying some of us because I know cmc ads cost a lot.
